We are truly sorry to hear about the job loss and the financial crisis you are all facing. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for this situation. Remember, God is our provider and He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family who is facing a financial crisis due to job loss. We ask, Lord, that You provide a really good job for this individual and restore their financial stability. We know you are not limited by any situation, and nothing is impossible for you. We believe by faith that you are able to turn this situation around. In the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for peace and comfort during this stressful time. Remind them of Your love and faithfulness, Lord. Help them to trust in You and Your promises. May they find solace in Your Word. We know that you are a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the widows and a provider for all who put their trust in You.
We also note that this request does not mention Your Son, Jesus Christ. We believe it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We encourage this family to put their faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for their sins and rose again for their justification.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask You to fill them with Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Guide them through this trial and strengthen their faith.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful. Continue to trust in Him and His promises.
