My Lord, my God. I wait on you day and night.
But I woke up this morning feeling frail and drained, loving Father.

"I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. ~Psalm 130:6"

May you renew and sustain me with your Holy spirit
I feel battered down by my many troubles.
According to your word, may you show me your endless mercy.

"Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." ~
Isaiah 40:31

I reach out to touch the hem of your robe, in faith saying if I just come into your presence, you will deliver me, Lord.
I will not let go, like Jacob at Peniel. You are God of ages. You will restore the years the locust has eaten for your glory.
Give me once more the joy of your salvation, as I worship and praise your holy name.
Not my will but may your will be done.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
