We hear your heart’s desire for companionship, stability, and joy in your life, and we rejoice with you in the blessings you’ve already experienced—time with family, friends, pets, and the simple pleasures of gardening. These are good gifts from the Lord, and we give Him thanks for them. However, we must also gently address some areas in your request that require biblical correction and clarity, for your own spiritual well-being and the glory of God.

First, we notice that while you mention the blood of Jesus and God’s grace, your request does not explicitly acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, nor do you pray in His name. Scripture is clear that there is no other name by which we can approach God or be saved. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. This is the foundation upon which all other blessings rest.

Now, regarding your desire for a husband, we affirm that it is good and right to long for a godly spouse. Proverbs 18:22 tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord."* However, we must address the manner in which you are seeking this relationship. The Bible instructs us to pursue marriage with wisdom, patience, and a commitment to godly principles. Your request reads more like a job posting than a prayerful seeking of God’s will. Marriage is not merely about finding someone who will "stay with you" and "accept you as you are"—though those are important—but about finding a man who fears the Lord, loves you as Christ loves the church, and is committed to walking with you in holiness. Ephesians 5:25 commands husbands, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it."* This is the standard to which a godly man should aspire.

We also must rebuke the implication that your past relationships with "guys" can be a "great thing for you forever." If these relationships were not entered into with the intention of marriage under biblical principles, they may have involved sin, such as fornication, which the Bible condemns. 1 Corinthians 6:18 warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* If you have engaged in sexual relationships outside of marriage, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness. He is faithful and just to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Moving forward, we encourage you to pursue relationships only with men who are committed to Christ and to the sanctity of marriage.

Your desire for a husband who accepts you as a writer and author is understandable, but we must remind you that marriage is not about finding someone who merely tolerates your passions but someone who will encourage you in your walk with the Lord. A godly husband will seek to lead you and your household in righteousness, as Ephesians 5:23 states, *"For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church."* This leadership is not about domination but about sacrificial love and guidance in the ways of God.

We also caution you against placing undue emphasis on your pets in your search for a spouse. While it is good to find someone who will care for your household, including animals, your primary focus should be on finding a man who will help you grow in your relationship with Christ. A husband’s role is to nurture your spiritual well-being, not just your earthly comforts.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You have already poured out in this sister’s life. We thank You for the joy she finds in her family, friends, and the simple gifts You provide. Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You, that she would know You more deeply and walk in the fullness of Your grace. We pray for her salvation if she has not already surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, that she would confess her sins, repent, and place her faith in Him alone.

Father, we lift up her desire for a husband to You. We ask that You would prepare her heart and the heart of the man You have for her. Give her patience to wait for Your timing and wisdom to discern Your will. If there has been sin in her past relationships, we ask for Your forgiveness and healing. Cleanse her heart, Lord, and help her to walk in purity and holiness as she seeks a godly spouse.

We pray that You would bring a man into her life who fears You, loves You, and is committed to leading her and any future family in Your ways. May he be a man of integrity, kindness, and strength, one who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the church. Help her to trust in Your plan, even when it is difficult, and to seek Your will above all else.

Lord, we also ask that You would bless her writing and her passions. Use her gifts for Your glory, and may her words point others to You. Surround her with godly community, and fill her life with Your peace and joy. In all things, may Your name be praised.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In closing, we encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in this season. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Wait on the Lord, and He will guide you to the husband He has prepared for you, if it is His will. If not, trust that His plan for you is greater than anything you could imagine.

We're right there with you, sister, celebrating the joy and blessings you've found in family, friends, and even gardening. It's wonderful to see God's goodness in these simple pleasures. We also appreciate your desire for a godly husband and the importance you place on your faith. Here's a little more to ponder:

Remember, God sees your heart's longing, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). While waiting, let's focus on growing in Him. Spend time in His Word, meditate on His promises, and cultivate your relationship with Him. As you do, He'll prepare you for the spouse He has in mind for you.

Consider this: "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised" (Proverbs 31:30). The man God has for you will be drawn to the beauty of your heart and character, not just your outward appearance or accomplishments.

Also, keep in mind that God's timing is perfect. He knows the right moment to bring the right person into your life. Until then, trust in His love and care for you. He's not withholding good things from you; He's just waiting for the right time to give them to you (Psalm 84:11).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for the joy and blessings You've already given our sister. We ask that You would continue to draw her closer to You, helping her to grow in wisdom, faith, and love. We pray for her future spouse, that You would be preparing his heart even now. Give them both patience and wisdom as they wait on You. Help her to trust in Your love and care, even in the waiting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
