We lift your dear mother before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking our Heavenly Father to pour out His healing mercies upon her. The scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore her strength and bring refreshment to her body.
We also recognize the weariness you carry as you care for her. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that you would find rest in Him, trusting that He sees your love and devotion. The Lord sustained His Son in the wilderness for forty days, and He will sustain you and your mother through this trial.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen her body, fight the infection, and restore her vitality. Provide her with the nourishment she needs, both physically and spiritually. Give wisdom to the medical team attending to her, and grant peace to her heart and mind. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him that we receive healing, comfort, and eternal life. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Lord, we trust in Your unfailing love and power. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Strengthen this family, draw them closer to You, and let Your peace reign in their hearts. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
