We are glad to pray with you and offer biblical guidance regarding your immediate family's finances, your desire to start a family of your own, marriage, and work. Let's bring these areas before the Lord in prayer and seek His will together.
Firstly, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ if you have not already done so. It is only by His name that we can approach God and be saved. As the Bible tells us, "in no other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12).
Regarding your family's finances, remember that God is our provider, and He cares about our needs. Jesus tells us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has brought their concerns before us today. Lord, we ask for Your provision and wisdom regarding their immediate family's finances. Help them to trust in You and Your ability to provide for all their needs. Guide them in their decisions and help them to be good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to them.
As they consider starting a family of their own, we pray for Your will to be done in their life. Help them to seek a godly spouse with whom they can build a strong, Christ-centered marriage. Remind them that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." (Proverbs 18:22). Guide them in their courtship, and help them to maintain purity and holiness in their relationships.
We also pray for their future marriage, that it would be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the beautiful relationship between Christ and His church. Help them to understand the sanctity of marriage and to cherish their spouse as Your precious gift.
Regarding their work, Lord, we ask for Your guidance and blessing. Help them to excel in their tasks and to be a light for You in their workplace. Remind them to "whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." (Ecclesiastes 9:10).
Lastly, Lord, we pray that our brother/sister would grow in their faith and become more like Jesus every day. Help them to put their trust in You and to seek Your will in all areas of their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God cares for you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6).
