Disciple of Prayer
I am in desperate need for a breakthrough in deliverance from and a softened heart. I need prayer for the softening and cleansing of my heart to love as God wants me to love. I am a believer, but I was not truly making Jesus my LORD as I allowed a lack of diligence to cause me to fall into sin and become a dry place which gave the enemy a foothold, and now I am under constant oppression. I want to mend and strengthen my relationship with God in obedience and surrender to Jesus and serve Him. Please pray for my salvation, the gift or true repentance and the return of the power of the Holy Spirit to restore my faith, and to have complete deliverance from evil spirits and for physical, mental and spiritual healing. Please pray God takes away my heart of stone and replaces it with an obedient and submitted heart of flesh. I want a new start and to be clean and pure before God. Thank you and God bless you!

We hear the cry of your heart, and we are deeply moved by your desire to return fully to the Lord. Your words reflect a spirit that is weary of the bondage of sin and longing for the freedom and restoration that only Jesus Christ can provide. It is written in Ezekiel 36:26, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* This is the promise of God for you today—He is faithful to renew and restore those who turn to Him with a repentant heart.

You have acknowledged the areas where you have fallen short, and that is the first step toward true repentance. The enemy gains a foothold when we neglect our walk with Christ, but the good news is that our God is a God of deliverance and redemption. In 1 John 1:9, we are assured, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your confession is heard by Heaven, and we declare that God is already at work in you, cleansing and purifying you by the blood of Jesus.

You also mentioned the need for the power of the Holy Spirit to be restored in your life. Jesus said in John 14:15-17, *"If you love me, keep my commandments. I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you."* The Holy Spirit is your Helper, your Comforter, and your Guide. He is the One who will lead you into all truth and empower you to live a life that honors God. We pray that you would be filled anew with the Holy Spirit, that His fire would burn away every impurity, and that His presence would be so tangible in your life that you walk in victory over every scheme of the enemy.

We must also address something critical: you asked for prayer for your salvation. If you have already placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then your salvation is secure—nothing can snatch you out of His hand (John 10:28). However, if you are questioning whether you are truly saved, we urge you to examine your heart in light of Scripture. Salvation is not just about believing in God’s existence; it is about surrendering your life to Jesus Christ as Lord and trusting in His finished work on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* If you have never made this confession with your mouth and believed in your heart, we encourage you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).

If you have already done this but feel distant from God, take heart—this is not a matter of losing your salvation but of restoring your fellowship with Him. The enemy wants you to believe that you are too far gone, but that is a lie. God’s mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and He is calling you back to Himself. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for your sins; it is turning away from them and returning to the Lord with a heart that is fully submitted to His will.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is crying out for restoration and deliverance. Lord, You see the brokenness, the weariness, and the longing in their heart. We ask that You would do a mighty work in them, just as You promised in Your Word. Remove the heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh—a heart that is tender toward You, obedient to Your Word, and filled with Your love.

Lord Jesus, we pray that You would break every chain of oppression that the enemy has placed upon this beloved one. By Your stripes, they are healed—spiritually, mentally, and physically. We rebuke every evil spirit that has gained access through sin, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, we ask that You would fill this precious soul anew, restoring the joy of their salvation and the power to live victoriously for Christ.

Father, we pray for a spirit of true repentance to flood their heart. Where there has been hardness, bring softness. Where there has been rebellion, bring surrender. Where there has been dryness, bring a fresh outpouring of Your living water. Renew their mind, transform their heart, and align their will with Yours. Let them experience the fullness of Your love, that they may love others as You have loved them.

We pray for complete deliverance—from every stronghold, every addiction, every lie of the enemy, and every weight that has hindered their walk with You. Set them free, Lord, and let them walk in the liberty that Christ purchased for them on the cross. Restore their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving mightily in their life.

We also pray for divine protection over them. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where they will find rest and refuge under the shadow of Your wings.

Father, we thank You that You are not a God who delights in our suffering but a God who rejoices over us with singing (Zephaniah 3:17). We thank You that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in this precious one (Philippians 1:6). Let them arise from this place of brokenness stronger, wiser, and more passionate for You than ever before.

We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Beloved, we want to encourage you to take practical steps in your walk with Christ. Spend time daily in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and surround yourself with believers who can encourage you and hold you accountable. If there are areas of sin in your life, we urge you to turn from them completely and seek the Lord’s strength to overcome. Remember, you are not fighting this battle in your own strength—Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

If you have not already done so, we strongly encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled. Fellowship with other believers is vital to your spiritual growth and protection. And if you are struggling with forgiveness—whether forgiving yourself or others—remember that Christ has already paid the price for your sins. He does not hold them against you, and you must not hold them against yourself. Release them to Him and walk in the freedom He has provided.

Finally, we leave you with this promise from Isaiah 43:18-19: *"Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."* Your new beginning starts today. Walk in it, beloved, and trust that the Lord is with you every step of the way. He is for you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Be blessed and walk in victory!

Dear friend, we hear your heart's cry and we're here for you. We understand that feeling distant from God, like a dry, hard place, is a tough spot to be in. But remember, even the hardest hearts can be softened by God's love. He promises in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."

We're praying for you right now. We ask God to take your heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh, a heart that loves and obeys Him. We pray for complete deliverance from every spirit that's been oppressing you. We ask the Holy Spirit to fill you again, to restore your joy and power in Christ.

And listen, if you've been struggling with forgiveness, remember what Jesus said in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Let go of that burden, friend. Forgive as you've been forgiven.

We're believing with you for a new start, a clean, pure heart before God. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking Him. He's with you, and He's working in you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
