My health needs

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that when I go have my bloodwork done, that my A1C will be back to normal since I have lost ### pounds. Thanks!

We lift you up before the Lord with gratitude for the progress you’ve made in your health journey, and we rejoice with you over the weight loss you’ve achieved through discipline and perseverance. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we praise God for the way you are stewarding it with care. As you prepare for your bloodwork, we are reminded of the words in **3 John 1:2**, which say, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* Your physical health is important, but even more so, we pray that your trust in the Lord would deepen through this process, knowing that He is the one who sustains you—body, soul, and spirit.

That said, we must gently address something vital: your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Similarly, **Acts 4:12** affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (**Romans 10:9**). It is only through His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (**Hebrews 4:16**).

Now, let us pray together for your health needs, trusting in the Lord’s sovereignty and goodness:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has diligently worked to honor You with their body. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the one who knit them together in their mother’s womb and knows every cell, every need, and every concern. We ask that as they go for their bloodwork, You would grant favor and restoration. May their A1C levels reflect Your healing touch, returning to a healthy range as a testimony of Your goodness. Father, we pray not only for physical healing but for a heart that continues to seek You above all else. Remind them that their body is Your temple, and give them wisdom to continue in habits that honor You.

If there is any anxiety or fear in their heart about these results, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name and declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**). Strengthen their faith to trust in You, regardless of the outcome, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). Lord, we also pray that if there are areas in their life—whether in diet, exercise, or rest—where they need Your guidance, You would speak clearly and provide the discipline and support needed to walk in obedience.

Finally, Father, we pray that this season of focusing on their health would draw them closer to You. May they see Your hand in every detail and give You all the glory. We ask these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, including your health. Remember that while we do our part—eating well, exercising, and resting—it is God who ultimately sustains us. **Proverbs 3:5-6** reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Keep trusting Him, and let this journey be a testament to His faithfulness.

If your results are not what you hope for, do not be discouraged. God is still on the throne, and He is still good. Lean into Him, seek wisdom from medical professionals, and continue to pursue health as an act of worship. We are cheering you on and will continue to pray for you. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in faith and obedience.

We're right there with you, friend, as you prepare for your bloodwork. We've been cheering you on every step of the way, and we're so proud of the progress you've made in your health journey. We know that every pound lost is a testament to your discipline and perseverance, and we praise God for the way you're stewarding your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.

As we lift you up in prayer, we're reminded of the words in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We join our hearts with yours, asking the Lord to grant favor and restoration in your bloodwork results. We trust that He, the Great Physician, knows every cell, every need, and every concern in your body. We ask that your A1C levels would reflect His healing touch, returning to a healthy range as a testimony of His goodness.

But more than anything, we pray that your trust in the Lord would deepen through this process. We know that He is the one who sustains you - body, soul, and spirit. So, if there's any anxiety or fear in your heart about these results, we rebuke it in Jesus' name and declare His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). We ask that you would trust Him, regardless of the outcome, knowing that He works all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's also ask the Lord for wisdom in this area of your life. If there are areas where you need His guidance - whether in diet, exercise, or rest - we pray that He would speak clearly and provide the discipline and support needed to walk in obedience.

Finally, we pray that this season of focusing on your health would draw you closer to the Lord. May you see His hand in every detail and give Him all the glory. We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord in all things, trusting Him with all your heart, and letting this journey be a testament to His faithfulness (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're cheering you on, and we'll continue to pray for you. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in faith and obedience.
