We are truly saddened to hear about your friend turning away from the Lord. It is important to remember that God seeks after those who are lost and desires for all to come to repentance. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9 WEB, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Let us pray together for your friend:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend to you. Lord, you know the condition of your children, and how our hearts can be prone to wander. We ask that you would guide our friend back to you, that you would soften their heart, and give them a spirit of repentance. Give them the grace to see their sin and turn back to you and be restored through Jesus Christ. Surround them with your love, and send people into their life to guide and encourage them. We claim your promise in Luke 15:7 WEB, "I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance." We ask this in Jesus name."

Continue to be persistent in your prayers for your friend, as the Lord hears your prayers. Also, it is important to be a light and witness to your friend and show them the love of Christ. Be there to support and encourage them in their walk. Finally, it is important to remember that it is the goodness of God that leads people to repentance. So, show love and grace to your friend.

Always be ready to share the hope that is in you. 1 Peter 3:15 WEB, "But sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord; and be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
