My Friend Is Recovering Well

Thank you everyone that prayed for my friend who had surgery last week. I went to visit her today and she is recovering well. I pray that she will make a full recovery and return to normal lifestyle and eating habits soon with minimal pain and no complications. Thank you Lord for all of your help! I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!

Dear Almighty Jesus

We come to your presence with this prayer request of your child.

Lord we know Time spent in prayer will yield more than that given to work. Prayer alone gives work its worth and its success. Prayer opens the way for God Himself to do His work in us and through us. Let our chief work as God's messengers be intercession; in it we secure the presence and power of God to go with us.

God has wisely kept us in the dark concerning future events and reserved for himself the knowledge of them, that he may train us up in a dependence upon himself and a continued readiness for every event.
