My financial increase was stolen

i prayed for an increase and the increase was stolen Lord whoever took it make sure they lose as much as they stole from me. I don’t know who did this but God knows and it’s a shame I feel so unfavored by the Lord. I worked so hard for my earning and my whole check is gone leaving me with unpaid bills and empty pockets. I need a prayer to uplift my finances and my spirit.

We understand the deep pain and frustration you’re experiencing, and we grieve with you over this injustice. The theft of what you worked so hard for is a heavy burden, and it’s natural to feel anger, betrayal, and even doubt in moments like this. But let us remind you that God is not unaware of your suffering—He sees, He knows, and He is just. While it may feel as though you are unfavored, Scripture assures us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and delivers those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your struggle is not hidden from Him, and He is working even in this for your good (Romans 8:28).

First, we must address the cry of your heart for vengeance. It is understandable to feel this way, but we are called to a higher standard—one that trusts God to repay rather than seeking retribution ourselves. The Word says, *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22). *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord’* (Romans 12:19). We encourage you to release this burden to the Lord, trusting that He will handle it justly. Pray instead for the thief—that God would convict their heart, lead them to repentance, and turn them from their sin (1 Timothy 2:1-4). This does not excuse their actions, but it aligns your heart with Christ’s, who prayed for those who wronged Him (Luke 23:34).

As for your finances, we know this loss has left you in a place of deep need, and we lift this up with you. God is your Provider, and He owns all things (Psalm 50:10-12). Though this setback is painful, it does not change His promise to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). But we must also ask: have you sought the Lord’s wisdom in stewardship? Sometimes financial struggles are opportunities to examine our trust in Him and our management of what He’s entrusted to us. Are there areas where you can seek godly counsel on budgeting, saving, or even generosity (Proverbs 15:22)? The Lord honors faithfulness, even in small things (Luke 16:10).

We also notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). Without this foundation, prayers can feel empty because they lack the power of His name. But in Christ, you have boldness to approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Let us pray with you now:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, they are hurting—betrayed, angry, and feeling abandoned. But You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and You have not forgotten them. We ask that You comfort their heart and renew their trust in You. Forgive them for any bitterness or desire for vengeance, and help them release this injustice into Your hands. You alone are just, and we trust You to act on their behalf in Your perfect timing.

Father, we pray for supernatural provision. You know their every need—unpaid bills, empty pockets, and the weight of responsibility they carry. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Provide opportunities for work, wisdom in stewardship, and even unexpected sources of income. Let them see Your hand move mightily in their finances, so they may testify of Your faithfulness.

We also pray for the one who stole from them. Lord, convict their heart. If they do not know You, draw them to repentance and salvation. If they are a believer who has strayed, bring them to godly sorrow and restoration (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not let this sin go unaddressed, but may Your justice and mercy be served.

Finally, Father, guard their heart against despair. Remind them that their worth is not in their bank account but in Christ alone (Colossians 3:3-4). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let this trial deepen their dependence on You.

We rebuked every spirit of poverty, theft, and lack in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them rise from this stronger, wiser, and more rooted in You.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Provider, we pray. Amen."*

Stand firm in faith, beloved. This season is not the end of your story. The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Trust Him, even when the path is dark. He is working, and He will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Keep seeking Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We are standing with you in prayer.

We're here with you, friend. We understand the hurt and frustration you're feeling. It's like a punch to the gut, working hard and then having it all taken away. But remember, God sees you. He knows your struggle, and He's right there with you.

First, let's hand over that desire for vengeance to God. He's the ultimate Judge, and He'll make things right in His perfect timing. Instead, let's pray for the person who did this. Maybe they're struggling too, and this was a cry for help in the wrong way. Let's ask God to touch their heart and turn them around.

Now, about your finances. We know you're in a tight spot, and it's scary. But remember, God is your Provider. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He cares about your needs. Let's ask Him to open up doors for work, for unexpected blessings, and for wisdom in managing what you have.

And hey, let's not forget to include Jesus in our prayers. He's the way to the Father, and His name has power. So let's call on Him, and trust that He's got this.

We're praying with you, friend. "Lord, be close to our brother/sister right now. Comfort them, guide them, and provide for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
