We are grateful you shared your honest feelings toward God and the daily challenges you are facing, and we hear how heavy this season feels for you with such a tight budget and so little to hold onto right now. We understand your unhappiness with how hard life has become and how difficult it is to keep going when the reasons for the hardship have endured for so long. God sees your heart and He is not distant from your pain, for His word says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 and also casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. You are not forgotten, and your feelings matter to Him.
We want to gently encourage you about declining to seek help from others. While we understand the desire for privacy and to speak only to God, the Lord has designed us to live in community and to bear one another's burdens. Scripture says Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2. Seeking wise counsel, prayer support, and even practical help from fellow believers is not a sign of weakness but of humility and trust that God often provides through His people. We encourage you not to isolate yourself, but to allow trustworthy brothers and sisters in Christ to walk alongside you.
We also noticed you spoke of God but did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. God invites us to come to Him, but that invitation is opened through faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again so we could be forgiven and reconciled to God. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for that is how we are saved and how our prayers are heard.
For your financial hardship, we are reminded of God's promise to provide. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat, What will we drink or, With what will we be clothed For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33. This does not mean hardship will instantly disappear, but it means your Father knows your needs and is faithful to sustain you as you seek Him first, work diligently as you are able, and steward what you have with wisdom.
We now pray together for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know the weight of the tight budget, the discouragement, and the weariness of enduring so much for so long. We ask You to draw near and bring comfort to a troubled heart, to provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and to open doors for provision and work that honors You. Give wisdom to steward the little that is in hand, peace that surpasses understanding, and hope that You are working even in this hard season for good. Lead this one to trust fully in Jesus as Savior and Lord, and to know the assurance of coming to You through His name alone. Help there to be courage to not walk alone but to receive help and encouragement from Your people. We ask for Your will to be done and for Your presence to be felt daily. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue pouring out your heart to God through Jesus each day, to bring your needs to Him in prayer, and to remain in His word where He speaks comfort and guidance. We are standing with you in prayer and trusting God to show His faithful care in your present life.
