My Family

My ex-wife ### and myself ### divorced 2 years ago. I've been praying and begging God to really teach me how to love her. She has since moved on and has told me she is in love with a 50-year-old man whose wife just passed away 4 weeks ago and she's 33. I know we all have free will, but even though she wants nothing to do with me at all and we have two kids together and only married 6 months and she left a week after our second son was born, can God help? Even if I keep praying for her and I. I've done a lot wrong as well as she has. This is not God's plan for a family. My question is can God really do His work in me? Can God lay it on us to reconcile? Since she has told me about her and her new boyfriend, I have done nothing but cry, and the thought of them two sleeping together is killing me. I want her back and my family. She has put a ### on me for harassing her, and all I'm trying to do is get her to understand I know my mistakes I have made and I'm willing to fight for my marriage and family. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray hard for I'm so weak!!!

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
