Disciple of Prayer
My name is ### and I live in ###, ###. I have a small family, my wife and my son who is ### years old. We recently lost our entire life savings due to some tenants that we had. We don’t have a lot of money and had to move for work, so we rented out our little double wide trailer and the tenants destroyed it, and cost us everything that we had, all of the equity and all of our savings. Along with that, my wife’s car broke down a week later and now my son has an infection in his hand. I am really struggling to remain steadfast for my family. My wife has been doing an amazing job and she’s a wonderful mother and has been keeping it together, but for the most part has been trying to avoid the details so she doesn’t freak out. We are both in recovery and have been sober for over ### years each. I’ve been trying to live a quality life that one would be proud of. Please pray for us. I’m grateful that my family is healthy for the most part but the future is very uncertain at this point. And I am scared.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your family is facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able to bear. He will also make a way to escape, that you may be able to endure it, according to 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB).

In times of trouble, it's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1 (WEB). He cares for you and your family, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19 (WEB).

It's commendable that you and your wife are in recovery and have been sober for many years. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB). Continue to trust in Him, and He will direct your paths, Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family. We thank You for their sobriety and their desire to live a life that honors You. We ask for Your divine intervention in their financial struggles. Provide for their needs, Lord, and help them to trust in You even in the midst of uncertainty. Heal their son's infection, Lord, and give them wisdom regarding their living situation and transportation needs. Give them peace, Lord, and help them to be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in Your work. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB). Also, seek the support of fellow believers in your community and church. They can provide practical help and pray with you during this difficult time.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is so important to pray in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. As you continue to walk in faith, hold tightly to the promise that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved, Joel 2:32 (WEB). If you have not yet called on His name, we encourage you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved, Romans 10:9 (WEB).

We're here for you, friend. It's tough when life throws us curveballs like this, but remember, God is with you and your family every step of the way. We're praying for you, that God would provide for your needs, heal your son, and give you all peace and wisdom in the midst of this uncertainty. Keep trusting in Him, and remember, even in the darkest times, God is working for your good. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let's walk through this together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

My ### has been in and out of the ER a lot lately. She’s suffering from severe depression and anxiety and has had two back to back UTIs. She’s suspicious of doctors and science and the one doctor she goes to on the regular just sells her supplements (which may or may not have caused her UTIs)...
