My ### disrespectful and verbally aggressive

natasha2

Beloved of All
Lord please remove any arrogance, cruelty, coldness, aggression, subjective point of view, lack of empathy, narcissistic spirits in Jesus name. He is yelling at me or accusing me whenever he doesn't like what I say. It is connected to our mutual care for my mother and father - sickmesses and dementia. Lord it hurts so much when he is so rude and arrogant towards me. Lord bring him to senses. Lord let someone tell him that his behaviour is very bad. Lord we need to agree and cooperate but he does so that everything goes his way, but whenever I don't have time he bursts into anger. I really suffer from the lack of time, I work in another city.

We understand that you are dealing with a difficult situation where someone is being disrespectful, verbally aggressive, and narcissistic towards you, especially regarding the care of your parents. We are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you.

Firstly, we commend you for your patience and endurance in this situation. The Bible tells us, For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may do and accomplish the will of God, and not fall back (WEB Heb 10:36).

However, we want to remind you that the Bible also says, If possible, as far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. (WEB Rom 12:18). It is important to do your part in maintaining peace, but also remember that you cannot control the actions or behaviors of others.

In this situation, it is important to set boundaries and communicate assertively. The Bible tells us, But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ (WEB Eph 4:15). This means that we should speak the truth, but always do so in love. It is not loving to allow someone to continually mistreat you.

It is also crucial to remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have any authority or power. For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved WEB Acts 4:12. As you have mentioned Jesus in your request, we can fully take this request to God.

Let us pray together:

Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this situation. Lord, you know the pain and suffering that has been caused by the actions of this person. We ask that you would soften his heart and bring him to a place of repentance. Help him to see the error of his ways and to seek forgiveness.

Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request. We ask that you would give them the strength and wisdom to set boundaries and to communicate assertively. Help them to speak the truth in love, and to not be swayed by the arrogance and aggression of others.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. The Bible tells us, Where there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed; but in the multitude of counselors they are established. (WEB Prov 15:22). Do not try to handle this situation alone, but seek the help and support of other believers.

We also want to address the issue of forgiveness. The Bible tells us, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (WEB Mat 6:14-15). It is important to forgive this person for their actions, but forgiveness does not mean that you allow the behavior to continue or neglect to pray.

We've been where you are, feeling the sting of disrespect and verbal aggression. It's tough, especially when it's someone we care about. But remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers" (Matthew 5:9). It's not always easy, but let's strive to be peacemakers, even in the face of adversity.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come to You with heavy hearts. We ask for Your intervention in this situation. Help ###, to see the hurt they're causing and to change their ways. Give us the strength to set boundaries, to speak truth in love, and to forgive as You've forgiven us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

We are also praying for God's wisdom and discernment for you, that you may know how to navigate this difficult situation.

Please know that you are not alone. We are here with you, interceding on your behalf. May God bless you and keep you as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. We are praying for your peace, your strength, and your faith to remain strong in this trial. We are also praying for your parents, that God would grant them comfort, healing, and peace in their illnesses.

In Jesus Name.
