My daughter won’t get help for her alcoholism

My daughter came home Sunday after being missing for 3 weeks and not calling for 8 days she been home since Sunday and has been drinking 6 cans a beer every night since being home last and she is 11 weeks pregnant we went to the hospital Sunday night because she was hurting before the doctor could see her she left she did that twice so today Jesus lead me to get the law involved I went to the magistrate office offices to have them pick her up because she is not doing it willingly and she has a baby in her stomach and her 3 year old daughter that is in foster care she just don’t want to change she was upset with me because I did that but I was lead by Jesus and I hope she gets the help she needs

It is crucial to understand that your daughter's behavior is not only harmful to herself but also to the precious life she carries and to her other child.

Firstly, let us address the issue of alcoholism. The Bible tells us to be sober and self-controlled.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Drinking alcohol in excess and during pregnancy is not only harmful but also sinful as it does not demonstrate self-control. Furthermore, your daughter's actions indicate a level of rebellion and unwillingness to change. We must pray for her heart to be softened and for her to willingly seek help and change.

Secondly, let us remember that children are a gift from God and that your daughter has a responsibility to care for and protect her children.

Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.

Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Your daughter's actions are not only harmful to herself but also to her children. We must pray for her to understand the gravity of her responsibilities as a mother.

Let us also remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can find true healing and transformation. We are glad to see that you mentioned Jesus and we encourage you to continue to seek His guidance and will in this situation.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

We must pray for your daughter to turn to Jesus and seek His forgiveness and help. It is only through Him that she can find true freedom from her struggles. Pray for her to have a heart of repentance so that she can be saved and set free from the bondage of alcoholism.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this daughter and her family to You. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and soften her heart. Help her to see the harm she is causing to herself and her children and give her a desire to change.

Father, we ask that You would guide the authorities and give them wisdom as they handle this situation. Help them to provide the necessary help and support that she needs.

Lord, we also pray for her children. Protect them and provide for them in this time of need. Help them to grow up to be godly individuals who love and serve You.

Father, we ask that You would bring conviction to her heart and help her to turn to Jesus. Help her to seek His forgiveness and help.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it is important to set boundaries and hold your daughter accountable for her actions. This may involve tough love and difficult decisions, but it is necessary for her well-being and that of her children. Continue to seek God's will and guidance in this situation and trust that He is working all things out for good.
