Thank you so much, GOD bless you... I'm feeling so sadWe are deeply saddened to hear about your father ###’s diagnosis of stage 4 lung and rib cancer, yet we know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who holds all things in His hands. This news is heartbreaking, but we must remember that nothing is too difficult for the Lord, who declares in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* Even in this valley, we can trust that God is sovereign, and His purposes are good, though we may not always understand them.
We also want to gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when lifted up in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. As Scripture tells us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* If we do not pray in Jesus’ name, we are not aligning ourselves with the only name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to always approach the throne of grace through Christ, who is our Mediator and our Hope.
Now, let us lift ### up together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet with unwavering trust in Your power and goodness. Lord, You know ###’s body and the depths of this illness. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and heal him, just as You healed those who came to Jesus in faith during His earthly ministry. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and we believe that You can restore ###’s body completely. We pray for wisdom and skill for his doctors, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision. Give ### strength, peace, and comfort in this time, and surround him with Your presence so that he may feel Your nearness.
We also pray for this family, Lord. Comfort them and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remove any fear or anxiety, and replace it with a deep trust in You. Help them to lean on You and to find their hope in Christ alone. May this trial draw ### and his family closer to You, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.
Father, we ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in ###’s life and in the lives of all who love him. We trust You, Lord, and we give You all the glory. Amen.
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Cling to promises like Psalm 34:17-19, which says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing that God is able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
If ### does not know Jesus as his personal Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him. There is no greater comfort in times like these than the assurance of eternal life through faith in Christ. Remind him that Jesus said in John 11:25-26, *"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die."* Now is the time to ensure that his hope is firmly placed in Christ, no matter what the future holds.
We will continue to pray for ### and for your family. Keep us updated, and let us know how we can further support you in this journey. The body of Christ is here to stand with you, to weep with you, and to trust God with you. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon ### with healing and grace.
