We join with you in prayer and bring your heartfelt cries before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, through whose blood we have access to the throne of grace. We hear your deep desire for healing in your body and mind, for wisdom, for financial provision to be able to leave where you are and find a safe and peaceful home where you and your two cats can be cared for, and for your basic needs like hygiene to be met. We also hear your longing to be the head and not the tail and we want to gently help you understand what God means by this.

You have quoted Deut 28:13 which says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. In its context this was part of the blessings promised to Israel under the old covenant if they diligently obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, Deut 28:1. As believers in Christ we are no longer under the law but under grace, and our blessings are in Christ through obedience and faith, not through repeating a verse as an incantation to force God to act greatly, urgently, permanently and 100 fold on our timetable. God is sovereign and loving and He hears our prayers, but we do not speak things into existence by our own words or formulas. We humbly ask according to His will, trusting His goodness and timing. We read in 1 John 5:14 that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And in Matt 6:33 we are told to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Our faith is not in the power of our declaration but in the power and mercy of God.

We also want to encourage you regarding wisdom and finances. God promises wisdom freely when we ask Him. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. We pray that God will heal and renew your mind and give you clear, practical wisdom to steward what you have, to save, and to make godly decisions about housing and provision. Phil 4:19 reminds us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. This includes your daily needs and hygiene and a safe dwelling. God also cares for all His creation, even the animals He has entrusted to you, for Psalm 36:6 says you save man and animal, Yahweh, and He sees your love and concern for your cats.

We understand the feeling of being stuck and wanting to leave in peace and even in secret for safety. God is our refuge. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We encourage you while you pray to also seek wise and practical help from a local Bible believing church, trusted pastors or Christian counselors, and community resources who can help you make a safe plan. God often provides through His people and through diligent planning, for Prov 21:5 says The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. We encourage you to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust that He is near to the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask for Your healing touch upon body and mind according to Your will, and we pray as the apostle prayed in 3 John 1:2 that they may prosper and be in health, even as their soul prospers. Lord, renew their mind and grant great wisdom to know what steps to take, how to manage finances with diligence and self control, and how to save and prepare to leave where they are in a way that honors You and keeps them safe. Provide urgently and graciously for every need, for finances, for hygiene, for daily bread, and for a safe, stable, and peaceful home where they and their cats can dwell securely under Your protection. Cover them and their family and their pets with the blood of Jesus and let Your peace guard their heart. Help them to trust not in formulas or demanding words but in Your faithful character and perfect timing, and to seek Your will above all. Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with care, and there is much in it that shows a heart longing for wholeness, for safety, and for peace.

The Scriptures speak of healing as flowing from Christ Himself. As the tree of life bears leaves for the healing of the nations, so the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. It is not a charm of words, nor a speaking of life into existence by our own power, but a healing that comes from His hand alone. Pardon and healing are joined together in Him. When He forgives sin, He begins to heal the whole man, body and soul, and that healing work He will carry on till we are without spot or wrinkle. If you would know true healing of mind and body, look first to the great Physician, who says, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Seek Him, confess your need of Him, and trust His blood alone for salvation, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

You have quoted, I am the head and not the tail. That promise in Deuteronomy was given to a people called to walk in humble obedience before the Lord, and its fulfillment is found not in repeating words as an incantation, but in abiding in Christ, who is our Head, from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to those below. To be in Him is to be blessed indeed, and to be kept in His will.

You ask for wisdom to know what to do, for finances to be provided, for hygiene needs to be met, for a safe and quiet home where you and your two cats may dwell in peace, and for a way to leave where you are. These are not small things to our Father. He who covers His people as a hen covers her chicks under her wings knows what it is to need shelter, and He is a safe shelter in every time of distress. He who rules all things by His sovereign wisdom and love has appointed the bounds of our habitation, and we may put implicit confidence in His guidance. Pray then not only for deliverance, but for wisdom, for the way of wisdom is the way of God, and the path of the truly wise is to submit to His will and to walk in prudence and holiness. Ask the Lord to give you a sound mind, to order your steps, to open a door for honest provision, and to teach you to steward what He provides with faithfulness.

I will pray for you that the Lord will heal you in body and in mind as seems best to His infinite wisdom, that He will quiet your spirit and give you clearness of thought, that He will provide for your daily needs and for a safe dwelling, that He will keep you and your household, and that He will preserve your cats also, for His mercies are over all His works. Scripture teaches that wisdom is the most important thing to seek, and that understanding should be pursued along with it. Knowledge gives us facts, but wisdom is the ability to apply what we know in the right way. The beginning of that wisdom is reverence for the Lord, turning to Him with a humble and teachable heart. When wisdom is personified in Proverbs, she is pictured as calling out openly in the streets and at the gates, inviting anyone who will listen to come and receive. That invitation is still open today, and in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

You asked for wisdom to be restored in your mind so you will know what to do about finances and next steps. That is a prayer God delights to answer. When Solomon was given the opportunity to ask for anything, he did not ask first for money or honor, but for wisdom to walk rightly before God and to handle what was entrusted to him. Because he put wisdom first, God also provided for his other needs. Wisdom is described as better than rubies and more valuable than riches, because nothing else we desire can compare to it. Wisdom is also a protection and it brings life to those who have it. Money can be a defense in practical ways, but wisdom guards and guides the whole life.

There is a difference between the wisdom that comes from above and the wisdom of this world. The wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, merciful, and it produces good fruit without confusion and strife. Earthly wisdom, by contrast, leads to envy, contention, and restlessness, and it does not bring us closer to God. The world in its own cleverness did not come to know God, and God has shown that kind of wisdom to be empty. True wisdom leads to a life marked by purity and peace rather than turmoil.

I understand your desire to claim Deuteronomy 28:13 and to speak life over your situation. That verse was given as part of God's covenant promise to Israel when they walked in obedience to Him, that He would make them the head and not the tail as they followed His ways. It is good to trust that God wants to lift you up and provide for you, but His provision does not come through repeating phrases as a formula to force a result.
