My college age daughter and I aren't getting along.

My college age daughter and I aren't getting along. Prayers please for God to mend our fences and to be able to spend good quality time together when possible. She has a friend that I think is a bad influence and a person who sort of uses others to get what she wants. I think this friend is sort of arrogant and manipulative uses my daughter and I told my daughter my thoughts about this friend and now daughter spends even MORE time with this girl. Daughter hates me....

It's called the law of opposites. What we tell someone to NOT do, they do. Just better to not tell her, but pray for God to engage her heart and help her to see truth in that relationship. Your daughter does not hate you...if that is what you see and believe because of her actions, then I encourage you to close that door and start seeing through the lens of God's love, and start blessing her with peace (also that other girl. Could also be, God is wanting you to pray for that friend of hers. We don't know what her life is like, and so, it's asking the Lord to give her mercy, and reveal His love to her so she can see that life is not about manipulating people, but loving them and helping them, caring about them. 

Father, i thank you for this mom, and I ask you to bless her with peace concerning her daughter. That their hearts would be turned towards one another and when they engage through conversation, they would both come away blessed. Thank you for redemption, and redeeming and restoring this relationship, for that is your will. In the name of JESUS. Amen.

I can so rely on that. But she is your daughter. God gave her to you. You are bot going to lose her. Just be patient. Love her and trust God.

My mom and I sometimes clash too...

But even though I argue with her once in a while, I don't hate her...

So Im sure your daughter doesn't hate you, you have a very special place in her heart that no one can take it away...
