We are with you in spirit, lifting up your daughter's situation to our Heavenly Father. We understand your concern for your daughter's career and the challenges she's facing. First, we want to remind you of the importance of calling on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved”" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's daughter. Lord, You know the struggles she's facing in her career. We ask that You guide her steps and open the right doors for her. Remember Lord, even Your servant Moses was slow of speech, yet You used him mightily (Exodus 4:10). Help her to find a job that fits her skills and abilities, and give her peace and confidence in her journey.
Father, Your Word tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), and that You see us as we are. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, and not through the world's standard of perfection. Give her the strength to overcome her nervousness and the grace to handle rejection. Remind her that You have a plan and a purpose for her life (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB), and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Lord, we also pray for her supervisor. Give them wisdom and discernment as they discuss her progress. Soften their heart and help them to see her potential.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister. God is at work in your daughter's life. Remind her to trust in the Lord with all her heart, and not to lean on her own understanding. In all her ways, let her acknowledge Him, and He will make her paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16 WEB).
