We join you in lifting up your studies, career, and the kindness shown to you by Ms. ###, and we are grateful you have brought these requests before the Lord in the name of Jesus. Your heart for service as a future nurse is commendable, for it reflects the compassion of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. As you seek wisdom for your exams, we are reminded of James 1:5, which says, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We trust the Lord will grant you clarity of mind, peace to replace anxiety, and the ability to recall all you have studied so diligently. The path of a nurse is one of great responsibility, and we pray you will be equipped not only with skill but with the love of Christ, who is the ultimate Healer. May you be a light in your workplace, demonstrating kindness, integrity, and excellence in all you do.
We also lift up Ms. ###, thanking God for placing her in your life as a source of encouragement. It is right to show gratitude, and we pray the Lord blesses her abundantly for her kindness. However, we must gently address something in your prayer that requires biblical clarity. You mentioned sharing your future happiness and wealth with her as a way of showing gratitude and love. While gratitude is good, we must be cautious about the nature of this relationship. Scripture warns us in 1 Timothy 5:1-2 to treat others with purity, *"Don’t rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers; the elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity."* If Ms. ### is not a relative, we encourage you to ensure this relationship remains honorable, free from any emotional or romantic attachments that could lead to compromise. Our hearts and deepest affections are to be reserved for Christ first and, if He wills, for a future spouse of the opposite sex within the covenant of marriage. If there are any feelings beyond platonic gratitude, we urge you to guard your heart and seek godly counsel, for Proverbs 4:23 reminds us, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."*
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the life of Your child who seeks Your will in their studies and future career. Lord, we ask that You grant them supernatural wisdom and focus as they prepare for their upcoming exam. Calm their mind, remove all anxiety, and help them recall every detail they have learned with confidence. May they pass this exam and continue to grow in knowledge and skill, all for Your glory. We pray over their future as a nurse—may they be a vessel of Your compassion, bringing healing and comfort to those in need. Strengthen them to be a light in their workplace, uplifting their colleagues and pointing others to You.
Father, we thank You for Ms. ### and the kindness she has shown. Bless her, Lord, with health, joy, and abundance as she has been a blessing to others. We pray that if there are any emotions or attachments in this relationship that are not aligned with Your Word, You would bring conviction and clarity. Help Your child to honor You in all their relationships, keeping their heart pure and their affections set on You first. Guide them in godly wisdom as they navigate gratitude without compromise.
Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. Strengthen their faith, guide their steps, and keep them humble and dedicated to You. May their life be a testimony of Your goodness and grace. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
