We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and disrespected in your business dealings. Firstly, we commend you for ending your request in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved as the Bible tells us. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. It's important to remember that our work and how we conduct ourselves in business is a reflection of our Christian testimony.
Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance. In all things, we are to give thanks and be content with what we have and keep our minds focused on what is pure as it says in Philippians 4:8 Finally brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.
In your business, it's important to remember that God is your ultimate provider. As it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in Him, and do not be anxious about clients coming and going. Instead, rest in the knowledge that God has a plan for you and your business.
However, let us also address the feelings of disrespect. Jesus told the parable of a man hiring workers in his field. He hired them at different hours of the day and still paid them all the same wage. When the ones working all day saw the ones that only worked part day getting paid the same wage they were complaining. The master replied, is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with what is my own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good.
We should not look for fairness in this world, but look for God's grace in all things.
Regarding your customers, it's important to treat them with respect and kindness, even if they do not reciprocate. Remember, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." This is good business practice and a testament to your faith. Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our fellow believer to You, asking for Your guidance and provision in their business. Help them to trust in You fully and to rest in the knowledge that You have a plan for them and their business. Grant them discernment in their dealings with customers, and help them to treat each one with respect and kindness, even when they are not treated the same way.
Lord, we ask that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Help them to be content in all things, and to keep their minds focused on what is pure and lovely. We know the other worker was found, but please provide them with more workers, more work, and more money for their business. We pray with thanksgiving.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember that God is always with you. "Keep your life free from love of money. Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'" So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
