My brother tried to kill himself: Please pray for my teenage brother. He has been struggling with depression and recently attempted suicide. He didn't manage to do any serious physical damage to himself, but he is in the teen psychiatric ward at the hospital. He wants to go home but they aren't sure if he's ready. The insurance isn't going to cover any more time in the in-patient program, so he will have to come home before he's actually ready. Please pray that he will recognize that he has friends and possibly make new friends, and that none of his friends will judge him. Please pray for him regarding faith, as his scientist brain is having trouble with the idea of God. Please pray for my family as well, because everyone has been affected by this. He does not want to return to his old school, and my mom doesn't think he will be ready even after the out-patient treatment is over. My parents hate the idea of sending him away, but they are looking into boarding schools for kids who are struggling with depression. Please pray that Gd will guide them in the right direction about schools, and that if a boarding school is the right choice that they will find one that is affordable. Finally, please pray for my sister (younger than my brother) as this has terrified her (she was home when it happened) and is struggling with the idea that her brother could have died. She tried cutting as a response to this, so please pray that she'll overcome this hurdle as well. Thank you for the prayers! It means a lot.
