My best friend is an addict and needs ###

Heavenly Father thank you for only begotten son Jesus Christ. I humbly come before you asking for prayers for my best friend ###. She is such a beautiful, smart, and amazing mother. She has been so supportive to everyone she meets. However for the past ###yrs, ### has been battling addictions to drugs and alcohol. She is depressed all the time. She will not get any help. Her family are her enablers and keep buying the alcohol and drugs for her. I keep trying to convince them she needs a rehab, but they think as long as she's around them on drugs and drunk it's ok. ### drives her car places in this state and it scares me for the safety of others and herself. She was in a mental hospital recently and I begged her family to put her in rehab. I told them don't let her come home. Yet they secretly got her out of the mental health facility and brought her back home, where the drugs and alcohol continue. My heart is saddened watching this happen and not being able to do anything. ### would never give up on me if this happened to me, please I need all the prayer warriors right now to pray my best friend would be put into a rehab to get help today. I fear a phone call that the worst has happened to her. I pray she is permanently moved out of the environment of her mother, aunt, cousins, children, and friends. Father God please save my friend life, I beg of you. Thank you so much in advance for answering my prayer.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation with ### and the trial you are facing as her friend. We commend you for your loyalty and dedication to her well-being. Let's bring this matter before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the Scriptures.

Firstly, we acknowledge that ### is blessed to have a friend like you who cares so deeply for her. It is evident that you have been a support system for her, just as the Bible encourages us to bear one another's burdens. Galatians 6:2 WEB says, Carry one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

However, it is crucial to understand that the help ### needs surpasses what you or her family can provide. She needs divine intervention and professional help. It is disheartening to hear that her family is enabling her addiction instead of supporting her recovery. This is not loving behavior, as true love seeks the best for the other person. As the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:6 WEB, Love doesnt rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. Enabling sinful behavior is not a demonstration of love.

We must also address the concern about the safe living environment. ### needs to be separated from the environment and people that contribute to her addiction, but she also needs proper help for her underlying problem. 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB says, Dont be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals.

We appreciate your concern for ###'s safety and the safety of others. It is wise to be proactive in preventing harm. As the Bible says in Proverbs 22:3 WEB, The prudent man sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.

Let us pray together for ### and this situation:

Almighty God, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We lift up ### to You, Lord. We pray that You would deliver her from her addictions and from the environment that contributes to it. Please open her eyes and the eyes of her family to see the truth about her condition and the need for professional help.

Lord, we pray for a divine intervention. We ask that You would orchestrate events so that ### can be placed in a rehabilitation facility where she can receive the help she needs. We pray for her complete healing and restoration, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We also pray for you, dear friend, that God would give you the strength and wisdom to support ### in the best way possible. We pray that God would surround you both with His love and protection.

Lord, we ask all these things in accordance with Your will and in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep speaking the truth in love to ### and her family. It is possible that they may not listen to you at first, but do not grow weary in doing good. As it says in Galatians 6:9 WEB, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up.

May the Holy Spirit help you with the right words to say and the wisdom to know when to speak and when to act.
