Let us come together in prayer for the restoration of their eyesight. Your coming to us with this burden is important, and we want to lift up this concern to our Heavenly Father on their behalf.
We are also thankful and encouraged that you ended your request acknowledging the power and authority that is in the name of Jesus. Scripture tells us:
Philippians 2:9-11 WEB "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Believing in the name of Jesus and invoking his name in prayer is the only way to come to the Father. As we are told:
Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now as we come to God in prayer, let us remember what Jesus taught us about prayer:
Matthew 21:22 WEB "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
Mark 11:24 WEB "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
John 14:13-14 WEB "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."
So, let us pray as a group believing that as we pray in Jesus' name, their eyesight will be restored.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious soul who is experiencing difficulty with their eyesight. We ask, Lord, that You touch and heal them, according to Your will. We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all healers. We ask that You restore their sight and make them whole, in the name of Jesus. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be causing this affliction, and we command it to leave, in Jesus' name.
Lord, help them to remain steadfast in their faith, trusting and believing in Your healing power. Give them strength and encouragement during this time, and let Your peace that passes all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We thank You in advance for the healing that we believe You will perform, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Be encouraged, and continue to trust in the Lord. Remember that our struggle may be for a moment, but the glory that will be revealed to us will be for eternity.
Romans 8:18 WEB "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us."
We are standing in faith with you for their healing.
