Disciple of Prayer
I have two day ###, one aged ### and the other aged ###, both have issues making genuine friends. My eldest has had to learn the hard way when people who she thought were her friends turned their backs on her and she has struggled ever since to trust and make good friends. People including close family ### have just stopped speaking to her and inviting her places for reasons unknown. My youngest has issues with her school friends leaving her out and not including her in conversation. When she tries to include herself or asks a question they pretend as if they haven’t heard her. I’m finding this all very difficult as I myself have very good friends and believe I’m a good friend also. I pride myself on being genuine and true to myself and teach my children to be the same. I have looked at my children ways and have asked them if they believe they are doing something wrong. Being offensive or if they could handle situations differently and we discuss possible resolutions and conclude. This situation is causing me great anxiety as I sometimes feel helpless and I worry they will be lonely especially as a single ### I want to protect and have all the answers and solutions for them however this is not possible. Some people are just mean and inconsiderate. Please help me to pray for my children to believe in themselves and find friends that align with their values and beliefs. I pray they find true friends who they can confide, laugh and be joyful with and accept them for who they are, they are not evil or bad girls they honestly aren’t. Please help me pray for better for them. Amen
