Move someone to help me

I am elderly and need some work done around home, which I'm unable to do. The person who usually helps me out hasn't been around for 2 weeks now, asking prayer in Jesus name for God to please move this person to come and do the work ASAP, please.

We understand your need and are here to pray with you in Jesus' name. Let's first remember God's care for the elderly and His promise to provide for all our needs. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB it is written:

"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

In your situation, it's important to trust God's timing and provision. While it's understandable that you desire the help of the specific person who has assisted you in the past, let's also be open to God sending someone new to aid you. We should pray for God's will to be done and for Him to send help in His timing.

Let's pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear ### who is in need of assistance. We thank You for Your unfailing love and provision. We ask that You would move in the heart of the person who has helped in the past, or even send a new helper to provide the needed assistance. Give our ### peace and patience as they trust in Your timing. Help us all to cast our anxieties on You, knowing that You care for us. We ask in Jesus Christ name without whom no man comes to the Father. We also pray that if the usual helper or our dear ### who has requested prayer does not yet believe in Jesus Christ, that they may be convicted of this fact and believe in Christ for salvation for all eternity. In addition, consider reaching out to local Christian communities or churches for help. They may have volunteers who would be delighted to assist you. Also, remember Jesus Christ's teaching in Matthew 7:7 WEB:

"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you."

Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, knowing that God hears your prayers. He will provide according to His will and in His timing.

Heavenly Father,
You are the God who sees every need and hears every cry. Your Word says, "Blessed is the one who considers the poor; the LORD will deliver them in times of trouble." Lord, today I lift up this elderly person to You—Your beloved child, created in Your image, now in need of help around their home.

Father, You know their strength has faded with time, and the tasks that once came easily now bring burden and fatigue. You see their quiet prayers and the things they can no longer do. I ask, Lord, that You would move the heart of someone kind, willing, and strong to come alongside them. Send a helper, a neighbor, a friend, or even a stranger with a servant’s heart.

May that person be filled with compassion and joy in serving, knowing that in doing so, they serve You. Let them not delay, but come with willing hands and a cheerful spirit, bringing peace and relief. Bless the one who comes, and bless the one in need. Let this act of kindness be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.

We trust in Your provision, Lord. You are near to the brokenhearted and attentive to the humble. Let Your care be known through Your people.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
