We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in this time of uncertainty and concern. The thought of her enduring seizures, even for diagnostic purposes, weighs heavily on us all. But we know that our God is a healer, a comforter, and a refuge in times of trouble. We stand in the gap for her, trusting in His sovereignty and perfect will.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to watch over this precious mother as she undergoes these medical tests. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and nurses caring for her. Give them wisdom and discernment as they seek to understand her condition. We pray that You would protect her mind and body, even as they temporarily adjust her medication. Lord, we ask that You would prevent any harm or danger during this process and grant her peace and comfort in the midst of it all.
We know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would draw near to her and to her family during this time. Calm their fears and anxieties, and fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You hold all things together by the word of Your power (Hebrews 1:3), and that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17).
Lord, we also pray for healing. We know that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You would touch her body and bring restoration and wholeness. Whether through medical intervention or divine healing, we trust in Your plan and Your timing. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises.
Father, we also lift up her family. This must be a difficult and emotional time for them. Strengthen them, Lord, and remind them of Your love and faithfulness. Help them to support one another and to lean on You for strength and comfort. May they find solace in Your presence and hope in Your promises.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in You, Lord. We speak peace over this family and declare that Your peace will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified through this situation. May Your name be lifted high, and may many come to know You through the testimony of Your faithfulness. We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God during this time. Remember that He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, and trust in His perfect plan. We also encourage you to surround yourselves with a community of believers who can support and pray for you during this time. You are not alone, and we stand with you in faith.
