We lift up your mother before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the discomfort and concern that daily indigestion brings. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand in agreement with your prayer, believing that God hears the cries of His children and is able to heal every disease and every affliction (Matthew 4:23).
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Great Physician. We ask that You touch this dear mother with Your healing hand. You formed her inward parts and knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every cell in her body. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to afflict her and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, bring relief to her digestive system, restore balance, and strengthen her body. Let her experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you, as her child, to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Continue to bring her before the Lord in prayer, and consider seeking godly medical advice as well, for the Lord often works through the hands of those He has gifted in the healing arts.
Let us also remember that our times are in God’s hands (Psalm 31:15), and whether in healing or in perseverance, He remains faithful. We pray for wisdom for her caregivers and for patience and strength for you both as you walk this journey. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family in faith, and let them see Your hand at work in this situation. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
