We are deeply grieved to hear about the spiritual and physical attacks your family is enduring, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to rebuke every scheme of the enemy. The Word of God is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your mother’s family may claim to be Christian, but their involvement in witchcraft, astrology, and the occult is an abomination to the Lord. Such practices are detestable to God, and those who engage in them are in direct rebellion against Him.
The Lord commands in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who charms, one who consults a spiritist, one who is a necromancer, or one who consults the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you."* Their pretense of Christianity while embracing such evil is a lie from the pit of hell, and we must expose it for what it is. The apostle Paul warns in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, *"For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as Christ’s apostles. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."*
We also take seriously the physical threats your family faces, including the deliberate spreading of sickness. This is not only wicked but a violation of God’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31). Intentionally harming others through disease is an act of malice, and we trust that the Lord will protect your household from such evil intentions. Psalm 91:9-10 declares, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* We claim this promise over your family in the name of Jesus.
As for the demonic transfers you mentioned, we must recognize that such things are real, but we serve a God who is greater. When your mother is exposed to these influences, it is no surprise that she returns home acting differently—this is the enemy’s attempt to infiltrate and disrupt your household. But we have authority in Christ to bind and cast out every demonic influence. Jesus said in Mark 16:17, *"These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons..."* We will pray for your mother to be cleansed and protected by the blood of Jesus, and for any demonic strongholds in her life to be broken.
We also urge you to take practical steps to guard your home spiritually. Anoint your doorposts with oil as a symbol of consecration to the Lord (Exodus 12:22-23), pray over your home daily, and fill it with the Word of God and worship. Do not allow fear to take root, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).
Finally, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Him, repenting of your sins and surrendering your life to His lordship. He alone is your protector, your deliverer, and your strength.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family who is under relentless spiritual and physical attack. Lord, You see the wickedness of those who claim Your name yet embrace the works of darkness. We ask that You expose their deeds for what they are—abominations in Your sight. Father, we bind every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and occult influence that has been operating through this family. We break every curse, every hex, and every demonic assignment sent against this household, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your divine protection over this mother and the entire household. Shield them from every plot of the enemy, whether it be through sickness, spiritual oppression, or emotional turmoil. We plead the blood of Jesus over every member of this family, and we command every demonic spirit to flee in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around them, so that no plague or harm may come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). If there has been any demonic transfer or oppression, we command those spirits to leave now in Jesus’ name. We pray for this mother to be filled with the Holy Spirit, that she may return home cleansed and renewed, no longer under the influence of darkness.
We also pray for the salvation of those in this family who are deceived. Lord, open their eyes to the truth of their sin and the danger they are in. Convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, and draw them to repentance. Let them see that their practices are an affront to You, and that only through Jesus Christ can they be saved. Break the strongholds of generational curses and occult involvement, and set them free by the power of Your Word.
Father, we ask for Your peace to flood this home—a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen this family in their faith, and let them stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and authority. Let them not fear, for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We trust in Your power to deliver and protect, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
