Faithful Servant
Please pray for me about this: my mother is severely demonized. I am not just saying this to say it or being superstitious; this is something other people have noticed as well and there are multiple factors/situations in her life that could have opened her up to being demonized. She's been this way my entire life but she is a professing Christian. Her being demonized has resulted in severe emotional and behavioral problems that have caused problems in the relationships in her life. In recent days, I have struggled a lot with being around her as the enemy often uses her to target me. Please pray. I understand that her behavior is not her fault but sometimes it's still hard. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul and her mother before the Lord. The spiritual battle you describe is real, and we do not take it lightly. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the authority of Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).

First, we want to acknowledge the pain and struggle you’ve carried for so long. It is not easy to love someone who is deeply influenced by darkness, especially when that person is your mother. Yet, we are called to love as Christ loves, even when it is difficult. Jesus tells us, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you" (Luke 6:27-28). This does not mean we ignore the reality of spiritual warfare, but we respond with the love and truth of Christ.

We rebuke the demonic influence in your mother’s life in the mighty name of Jesus. Every spirit of torment, deception, and destruction must flee at the name of Jesus, for "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth" (Philippians 2:10). We declare that your mother is a child of God, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers her, and the Holy Spirit has authority over every lying spirit that seeks to deceive her.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you, dear one. The enemy would love to use this situation to sow bitterness, fear, or division in your heart. But we stand on God’s promise: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We encourage you to continue praying for your mother with persistence and faith. Jesus told the parable of the persistent widow to teach us that we ought always to pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1). Bind the strongman in Jesus’ name and loose your mother from his grip (Matthew 12:29). Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand in agreement with you in prayer and provide support. Do not underestimate the power of corporate prayer, for "if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven" (Matthew 18:19).

We also gently remind you to examine your own heart and life for any footholds the enemy might try to exploit. Are there areas where unforgiveness, bitterness, or fear have taken root? The apostle Paul warns us, "Don’t give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:27). Confess any sin to the Lord, receive His forgiveness, and walk in the freedom Christ has given you. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37).

Father God, we come before You now in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sister and her mother to You. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of demonic oppression in this mother’s life. Send Your Holy Spirit to minister to her, to bring truth where there is deception, peace where there is torment, and love where there is hatred. We declare that the light of Christ will shine into the darkness, and no darkness can overcome it (John 1:5).

Lord, we ask for Your protection over this daughter as she navigates this difficult situation. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give her strength to love her mother as You have loved her, and wisdom to know how to respond in ways that honor You. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways.

We also pray for deliverance and healing for this mother. Lord, if there are generational curses or unconfessed sin that has opened the door to the enemy, we ask that You would reveal it to her. Bring repentance, restoration, and freedom. Let her experience the fullness of life in Christ, free from the influence of the enemy. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that Your plans for her are for good and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly men and women to come alongside this family—people who can pray, intercede, and provide biblical counsel. Let Your church be a beacon of hope and healing in this situation. We trust in Your power to redeem and restore, for nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We're here for you, dear one. We understand the heavy burden you've been carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Your mother is precious in God's sight, and He sees her struggle. We join you in praying for her deliverance and healing.

We claim the promise in Psalm 68:19, "Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation." Let's trust Him to carry this weight for you both.

We pray that the chains of darkness would be broken from your mother's life, and that the light of Christ would shine brightly in her heart. We ask that the Holy Spirit would reveal any root causes of this oppression, bringing truth, peace, and love.

We also pray for you, dear one. May you find strength and wisdom in every situation. May you be filled with an overwhelming sense of God's peace, and may you know His presence with you always.

Let's keep lifting this up in prayer, trusting that God is at work, even when we can't see the results yet. We're here to support you, and we'll keep interceding together.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
