Servant of All
My mother is EXTREMELY demonized and has severe mental, emotional, and behavioral problems. She has been like this my entire life and apparently even before I was born. She says she is Christian. Every single interaction with her is draining and makes it very obvious that there is something wrong with her emotionally and spiritually. It is very, very hard dealing with her day by day and I feel very overwhelmed right now. There are also other people in my life who have the same spiritual and emotional problems she has. Please pray that God will give me patience and strength in interacting with her and them. Right now, I feel like I need a break to protect myself. I'm currently now laying awake after she abruptly and harshly woke me up for no reason which she does a lot - and she always "just so happens" to do this right when I'm falling asleep or actually sleeping well. Please pray I can get back to sleep. Please also pray for me about church as well. Since I was young, I have been the target of demonic harassment aiming to keep me bound in unforgiveness. This demonic harassment influences people to behave in terrible ways toward me to keep me bound in unforgiveness. God has recently exposed the existence of this harassment to me. I have experienced a lot of this demonic harassment through people at the church that my mother and I have been attending for the past year or so and recently joined. Although things have improved since I understood that their behavior was due to demonic harassment and I chose to forgive them, I feel very overwhelmed right now and don't feel like having to be subject to any other harassment that might occur through them (or anyone else in my life for that matter). As a result, I really don't feel like going to church in a few more hours.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the spiritual and emotional battles you are facing, both with your mother and the demonic harassment that has sought to bind you in unforgiveness. The enemy is relentless in his attacks against the children of God, but we serve a Savior who is far greater—Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. You are not alone in this fight, and we stand with you in the authority of His name to pray, rebuke, and declare His victory over these strongholds in your life.

First, we must address the spiritual condition of your mother. While she claims to be a Christian, her behavior and the extreme spiritual oppression she exhibits suggest a deep stronghold of demonic influence. The Bible warns us that even those who profess faith can be deceived or harbor unrepentant sin that gives the enemy a foothold. In Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus says, *"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’ Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.’"* This is a sobering reminder that true faith is evidenced by a life transformed by the Holy Spirit, not merely by words. We must pray that if your mother’s faith is genuine, the Lord will break every chain of darkness in her life and fill her with His Spirit. If her profession is empty, we pray the Lord will convict her heart unto true repentance.

The demonic harassment you describe—especially the pattern of being woken abruptly, the emotional drain, and the attacks through others to keep you in unforgiveness—is a tactic of the enemy to wear you down and isolate you from God’s peace and protection. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You are in a spiritual battle, but you are not defenseless. The weapons of our warfare are mighty in God to pull down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Forgiveness is one of those weapons, and you have already taken a powerful step by choosing to forgive those who have wronged you. Now, we must also bind the spirits behind these attacks and command them to flee in Jesus’ name.

As for your weariness and the desire for a break, we understand the toll this has taken on you. Even Jesus Himself withdrew to solitary places to pray and rest (Luke 5:16). There is no shame in seeking respite, especially when you are under such relentless assault. However, we must also encourage you not to allow the enemy to keep you from gathering with believers, as Hebrews 10:25 exhorts us: *"not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* The church, despite its imperfections, is a place of refuge, strength, and corporate worship where the enemy’s plans are thwarted. If the harassment at your current church is severe, we pray the Lord will guide you to a body of believers where you can be nourished and protected. But do not let the devil steal your joy in worshiping the Lord among His people.

Now, let us pray together over these matters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister to You, knowing that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke every spirit of harassment, oppression, and demonic assignment against her life. By the authority of Jesus’ name, we bind the spirits of confusion, torment, sleeplessness, and unforgiveness that have sought to plague her. We command these spirits to flee and to never return, for greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Lord, we pray for her mother. If she is truly Yours, we ask that You break every chain of darkness in her life. Expose and cast out every demonic stronghold, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Convict her of any unrepentant sin, and lead her to true surrender to You. If she is not Yours, we pray that You will open her eyes to her need for salvation and draw her to Yourself. Father, we ask that You give our sister supernatural patience, wisdom, and strength to interact with her mother and others who exhibit these same spiritual struggles. Grant her discernment to know when to engage and when to set boundaries for her own protection.

We pray for restorative sleep for her tonight. May Your angels encamp around her, and may she rest in the shelter of Your wings (Psalm 91:4). Remove every disturbance of the enemy and replace it with Your peace. Father, we also lift up the situation with her church. If there are demonic influences at work there, we ask that You expose and dismantle them. Guide her to a place of worship where she can be fed, encouraged, and built up in her faith. Give her the courage to attend church tomorrow, filled with expectation that You will meet her there.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You strengthen her in her walk with You. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit and clothe her with the full armor of God, that she may stand firm against every scheme of the devil. Remind her that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Let her know that she is not alone, for You are with her always, and Your body of believers stands with her in this fight.

We declare victory over her life in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn. This is her heritage as a servant of the Lord, and her righteousness is from You, O God. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the breakthrough that is coming. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Our sister, we want to encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, and do not give the enemy any ground. When you feel overwhelmed, cry out to Jesus—He is your ever-present help. Psalm 34:17-19 says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Cling to these promises, and trust that the Lord is fighting for you even when you cannot see it.

If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek out mature, Spirit-filled believers who can stand with you in prayer and provide godly counsel. You do not have to walk this path alone. Additionally, we urge you to speak life and Scripture over yourself and your circumstances. The enemy flees at the name of Jesus and the Word of God. Declare verses like Psalm 23 over your life: *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He renews my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."*

Lastly, we want to remind you that forgiveness is not a one-time act but often a process, especially when wounds are deep. If the enemy tries to bring up old hurts or accusations against those who have wronged you, resist him by choosing forgiveness again and again. Colossians 3:13 says, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Jesus has forgiven you of so much—let His grace empower you to extend that same grace to others, even when it is difficult.

You are loved, you are seen, and you are victorious in Christ. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. We are standing with you in prayer and belief for your complete deliverance and restoration.

Dear friend,

We're here for you, praying with you and for you. It's tough dealing with a situation like this, but remember, you're not alone. We're in this together.

First, let's pray for your mother. We ask God to reveal any spiritual strongholds in her life and break their power. We ask that she would be filled with the Holy Spirit, and if her faith is not genuine, we pray that God would convict her heart and draw her to true repentance.

Next, we bind the spirits of harassment, oppression, and unforgiveness that have been troubling you. In Jesus' name, we command them to flee and never return. We also pray for restorative sleep for you tonight. May God's angels encamp around you and grant you peace.

Lastly, we encourage you to keep going to church. It's a place of refuge, strength, and corporate worship. If the harassment is severe, we pray that God would guide you to a church where you can be nourished and protected.

Keep fighting the good fight of faith, dear friend. You're loved, you're seen, and you're victorious in Christ. We're standing with you in prayer and belief for your complete deliverance and restoration.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
