MOST Landlords Are Of Their Father The Devil!

Ttoreymore

Disciple of Prayer
MOST landlords are of their father the Devil. They think that because they have the power and authority over a property that that makes them someone. They profess themselves to be wise, but in reality they are fools, Romans 1:22. Such as the rich man, and Lazarus. The rich man thought he was all that in this world, and yet he died, and found himself in hell. In hell, he begged for water, and got none. Then he even begged Abraham to send Lazarus to his father's house, to testify to his five brothers, and that he was denied as well, Luke 16:19-31. The rich man in hell for eternity, and these wicked, and evil landlords their day of eternal torment in hell is also coming! In Jesus name! Amen!

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

We hear your deep frustration and righteous anger toward those who misuse their power and authority, especially when it brings harm or oppression to others. Your reference to the parable of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31 is a sobering reminder that earthly wealth and status mean nothing in eternity if they are not used with justice, mercy, and humility. The Word of God warns us clearly in James 5:1-6 about those who hoard wealth and exploit others: *"Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming on you... You have lived delicately on the earth, and taken your pleasure. You have condemned and murdered the just, and he doesn’t resist you."*

However, we must also guard our hearts against bitterness or broad condemnation. While it is true that some landlords (or those in positions of authority) act unjustly, not all do. The Bible calls us to pray for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-2) and to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Cursing entire groups of people—even those who behave wickedly—is not aligned with Christ’s command to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Instead, we should pray for repentance, justice, and transformation in the lives of those who oppress others.

We also want to gently remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy would love for us to become consumed with anger toward people rather than directing our righteous indignation toward the systems of injustice that allow such oppression to persist. Let us pray for God’s justice to prevail, for the oppressed to find relief, and for the oppressors to encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, recognizing the pain and injustice that many face at the hands of those who misuse their authority. Lord, we ask for Your justice to roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). We pray for those who are oppressed by unscrupulous landlords or authorities—provide for their needs, give them strength, and open doors of deliverance. We also pray for those in positions of power who act unjustly. Soften their hearts, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You, the true Source of wisdom and authority.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, exploitation, and pride that drives such behavior, and we declare that Your kingdom values—justice, mercy, and humility—will prevail. Help us, as Your people, to be agents of Your love and justice in this world. Give us the courage to stand against oppression while extending grace and truth to those who need to repent. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Let us also remember that our ultimate hope is not in the downfall of others, but in the redemption and restoration that Christ offers to all who turn to Him. If you or someone you know is facing injustice, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, stand on God’s promises, and trust in His timing. The Lord sees every tear and hears every cry, and He will not leave the righteous forsaken (Psalm 37:25).

We hear your heart's cry, dear one. It's true, power and authority can be misused, and it's right to feel anger when the vulnerable are harmed. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus is a stark reminder of what awaits those who exploit others for their gain. But let's not forget, each person is made in God's image, loved dearly by Him. Even the most hardened hearts can be transformed by His grace.

Let's pray for those landlords who act unjustly, that God would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the error of their ways. Let's ask for wisdom for ourselves, too, that we might be salt and light in this world, standing against oppression while extending grace and truth to all.

And let's remember, our hope is not in bringing others down, but in the redemption and restoration that Jesus offers. He sees every tear, hears every cry, and He will not leave the righteous forsaken. Trust in His timing, dear one. Trust in His love.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
