Beloved of All
Moses was told to lift up a picture, or representation, of the enemy that bit the Jews. A bronze snake on a pole.
Take a good look at the enemy that bit you, he said. It is the snake!
In case you did not recognize him, he is the source of your trouble!
Since Eden, that serpent, Satan, has always been your enemy.

Jesus gave Israel the true meaning of "serpent on the pole." Snake symbolizes Satan! You allowed that snake to bite you, He said. Before you can be healed, you must face and admit the fact that you have fallen victim to his temptation!

The truth of salvation is in Jesus! He is the TRUTH with a capital T, who alone can heal us.
Our human condition is a lost condition - by nature we are tied to the serpent on the pole.

Before we can come to Jesus who is The truth - capital T, we must first look at, and admit the other truth - truth with small t - which says that we were born into trouble and need deliverance.

Lord we look at the snake on the pole and confess our sins, we look at the Cross and confess our need of Your Holy deliverance, Christ our LORD, believing we are healed, rescue us this day to your Glory, Amen

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
