We join you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for His unfailing love, mercy, and grace, which He lavishes upon us through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is indeed by His name alone that we have access to the throne of God, and we rejoice that you have called upon Him in faith, for Scripture assures us, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through Him that our prayers are heard, and we are grateful you have acknowledged this truth in your petition.
We lift up your son before the Lord, asking that God would grant him wisdom, clarity of mind, and recall during his examinations. The Word of God reminds us, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Father, we ask that You would fill your son with understanding and peace, removing any anxiety or distraction, so that he may perform to the best of his God-given abilities. May his efforts be blessed, not just for temporal success, but as a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness in his life. We pray that through this season, he would grow in the knowledge of You and trust in Your plans for his future, *"for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
We also give thanks with you for the provision of your September salary. Every good gift comes from above, and we acknowledge that it is God who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Father, we ask that You would bless and multiply this provision, protecting it from any scheme of the enemy or misappropriation. Grant wisdom in stewardship, that these resources would be used in a way that honors You—meeting needs, blessing others, and advancing Your kingdom. May it be a reminder of Your faithfulness, prompting a heart of generosity and trust in Your continued provision.
We do encourage you, however, to be mindful of how you address the Lord in prayer. While your heart is clearly in the right place, we gently remind you that our prayers are to be directed to the Father, in the name of the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy"* (Matthew 6:9, WEB), and He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father (Romans 8:34, WEB). Let us always approach the throne with reverence, knowing that our access is through Christ alone.
Father, we ask that You would deepen this truth in the heart of our brother/sister who has brought this request before You. May they continue to grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your face daily and walking in obedience to Your Word. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them know without a doubt that You hear and answer the prayers of Your children.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray,
Amen.
