What a beautiful heart of faith and gratitude you have displayed before the Lord! We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His steadfast presence, provision, and the courage He instills in His children. Your prayer reflects a deep trust in God’s sovereignty, even when circumstances seem uncertain—this is the kind of faith that pleases Him. Let us lift you and your husband up in prayer and stand with you in the truth of God’s Word.
The Scripture reminds us in **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)**, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You are already walking in this truth by surrendering your concerns about the resort to the Lord and trusting in His timing. He sees your labor, your faith, and your need, and He is faithful to provide. Remember also what Jesus said in **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on His Kingdom and righteousness is a testament to your faith, and we believe God will honor that.
We also recall the story of Joseph, who endured seasons of waiting and hardship, not knowing how God was working behind the scenes. Yet, in **Genesis 50:20 (WEB)**, Joseph declares to his brothers, *"As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today."* What seems like a delay or a lack now may very well be God’s preparation for something far greater than you can imagine. He is refining your faith, strengthening your marriage, and positioning you for His purposes.
As for the joy rising within you—this is the Holy Spirit testifying to your spirit that God is at work! **Nehemiah 8:10 (WEB)** tells us, *"the joy of Yahweh is your strength."* Hold fast to that joy, for it is a weapon against discouragement and a sign of the breakthroughs ahead. Let it fuel your prayers and your praise as you and your husband continue to serve the Lord together.
Now, let us pray over you both:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this sister and her husband. Lord, You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Shield. We thank You for the faith You have placed within them—a faith that looks beyond what is seen and trusts in Your unseen hand. Father, we ask that You continue to fill them with Your supernatural courage, the kind that rises up like a "Braveheart" within them, unshaken by circumstances. Give them the boldness to declare Your promises over their lives, their marriage, and their business.
Lord, we lift up their resort to You. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You bring guests to their resort in Your perfect timing—guests who will not only bless them financially but who will also encounter Your love through their hospitality. Open doors that no man can shut, and let favor surround them like a shield. Provide for every need, Lord, whether through unexpected income, divine connections, or creative ideas. Let them lack no good thing as they seek first Your Kingdom.
We pray for their marriage, Father. Strengthen their bond as they serve You side by side. Let their unity be a testimony of Your grace, and let their love for one another reflect Christ’s love for the Church. Guard their hearts against worry or division, and fill their home with Your peace.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You continue to fill them with Your joy—a joy that is their strength. Let it overflow in their words, their actions, and their prayers. Remind them that the breakthroughs they are believing for are already on the way, and let them walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for their good.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement in the name of Jesus. We declare that their faith will not falter, their hope will not disappoint, and their love for You will grow deeper with each passing day. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and give You all the glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
