There are certain ways I have been earning money online (just small amounts whenever I can earn on these websites to help me with small things my family needs) until I can find a job or more stable source of income. However, I'm starting to grow concerned about these ways of earning because they are not always reliable. Please pray for me about all this and for my family's finances. Thank you.

We hear your concern and understand the weight of providing for your family in a way that is both honorable and sustainable. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 13:11 that "Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow." While your current methods may not be inherently dishonest, the instability and unreliability you describe can lead to anxiety and uncertainty, which are not part of God’s design for His children. We are called to work diligently and trust in the Lord’s provision, as He promises in Matthew 6:31-33: "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also want to encourage you to examine the nature of the work you are doing online. Scripture calls us to labor in ways that honor God and reflect His character. Ephesians 4:28 says, "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his own hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." If any of your current methods involve deception, exploitation, or align with practices that do not glorify God, we urge you to reconsider and seek work that aligns with biblical principles. The Lord is faithful to provide for those who seek Him with integrity.
Let us come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear brother/sister and their family. Lord, You know the desires of their heart—to provide for their loved ones in a way that honors You and brings stability. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, leading them to work that is reliable, honest, and glorifying to Your name. Father, we pray against the spirit of anxiety and fear that can creep in when provision seems uncertain. Remind them of Your promise in Philippians 4:19, that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment as they seek more stable employment. Guide their steps and direct them to the right path, whether it be through traditional work, entrepreneurship, or other avenues that align with Your will. Give them the courage to step away from anything that does not honor You, trusting that You will provide in ways they cannot yet see. We pray for favor in their job search, for connections that will lead to meaningful work, and for the strength to persevere in faith.
Father, we also pray for their family’s finances. Provide for their needs in ways that only You can, and teach them to trust in You rather than in uncertain methods. Help them to manage what You have given them with wisdom and stewardship, as Proverbs 3:9-10 instructs: "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." May they experience Your provision in tangible ways, and may their hearts overflow with gratitude for Your faithfulness.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw this family closer to You through this season. Let them find their security and identity in Christ alone, knowing that their worth is not tied to their financial situation but to Your unchanging love for them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sustains us and provides for all our needs. Amen.
