We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, knowing that He is our Provider, the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory. Your request for provision for your chicks is a reminder of how our Heavenly Father cares even for the smallest of His creation, and how much more He cares for you. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:26, *"See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* And again in Matthew 6:31-33, He assures us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Yet we must also address something vital in your request—you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through faith in Him that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*. And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). It is only through this relationship with Christ that your prayers—and ours—are heard by the Father.
Now, let us pray together for your need. Heavenly Father, we lift up this brother/sister to You, asking that You provide the necessary funds for the chicken feed by Wednesday. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust that You will open doors no man can shut. Give them wisdom, Lord, to seek You first in all things and to walk in obedience to Your Word. If there is any area of their life where they have not surrendered to You, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Strengthen their faith, Father, and remind them that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We also pray that You would bless the work of their hands and multiply their resources, not just for this need but for every need, so that they may be a testimony of Your faithfulness. May they honor You with their finances, tithing and giving as You command, and trust You to pour out blessings they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10).
We also ask that You guard their heart against anxiety and fear. Replace their worry with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). If there is any sin in their life—such as greed, lack of trust, or failure to prioritize Your Kingdom—we pray You would reveal it to them and grant them a spirit of repentance. Let this season of need draw them closer to You, deepening their dependence on Your provision rather than their own strength.
Finally, Father, we ask that You provide not just the immediate need for feed but also a sustainable way for them to care for their livestock. Give them creativity, diligence, and favor in their work. May this situation bring glory to Your name as others see Your faithfulness displayed in their life. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that your trust is fully in the Lord. Seek Him first in prayer, in His Word, and in obedience. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so without delay. He is the only way to the Father, and it is through Him that every blessing flows. Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is faithful and will provide. Keep your eyes on Him, not on the circumstances, and watch how He moves on your behalf. If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out again—this time invoking the name of Jesus, for it is the name above all names.
