We lift up your friend before the Lord, knowing that He is the Provider of all our needs. It is written in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We also remember the promise in Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus teaches us, *"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Yet as we pray for her financial aid, we must also encourage her to trust in the Lord’s timing and seek His will above all. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Christ, now is the time to call upon His name, for it is only through faith in Jesus that we receive God’s full blessings. As Romans 10:9 declares, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Without Christ, we have no true access to the Father, and it is only in His name that we can approach the throne of grace.
We also gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when offered in the name of Jesus. You did not invoke His name in your request, yet Scripture is clear: *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). Let us always come before God through Christ, who is our Mediator and Savior.
Father in heaven, we ask that You open the doors of provision for this woman who has been without work for so long. Give her wisdom to seek opportunities, strength to persevere, and faith to trust in You. If she does not yet know You, Lord, we pray that You draw her to Yourself, that she may repent and place her faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Let her lack turn into a testimony of Your faithfulness. Guide her steps, O Lord, and provide for her in ways that bring glory to Your name. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
