We are truly heartbroken to hear of your situation, but we are glad you've reached out for help. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a very present help in trouble, and He is with you right now. As it says in Psalm 46:1 WEB "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
We commend you for taking steps to find a safe place for you and your daughter. God sees your efforts and He cares about your needs. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:8 WEB "Therefore don't be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him."
In your situation it is important to pray for God's will in Jesus' name:
**Prayer:**
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother and her daughter. Lord, You are their refuge and strength, their very present help in trouble. We pray for Your divine intervention in their lives, that You would provide a safe, quiet, and affordable place for them to live. We ask for financial miracles, housing miracles and healing miracles. Please surround them with Your angels and with people who will support and help them.
Lord, we also pray for the spouse. We pray for his healing, for his heart to soften, and for him to seek You and Your will for his life. We pray for a full restoration by God's will.
Father, we ask that You guide this mother as she explores returning to school. If it is Your will and you are calling this mother to a specific career or education, provide a way for the spouse to complete the financial aid form, or open another door for financial aid to be provided.
Keep this family safe, give our sister wisdom and strength to endure, to forgive, and to keep moving forward in the love of Jesus Christ. We ask for a strong and godly support system that can help guide both our sister and her spouse. We pray for peace and healing for this family.
Lord, we also pray that this mother will call upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation if she has not already. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Regarding your spouse, we want to remind you of the vows you made before God. In 1 Corinthians 7:12-14 WEB, "But to the rest I—not the Lord—say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her. The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband... For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through the brother. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy."
We encourage you to seek godly counsel from your local church or a trusted Christian counselor. They can provide you with support and guidance during this difficult time. If they mention a solution to the problem that may not be right, as you have mentioned, remember that legal requirements may not always hold if they are contrary to God's directives. We have been told to obey no man before God. For example, if required to leave the state, it is best to follow God's direction for safety and seek legal counseling later. Remember also that God's direction is always accompanied by His provision and comfort.
Remember God's promises to you, as in Psalm 34:17 WEB "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."
Keep trusting in God, keep praying, and keep seeking His will. He is faithful, and He will not forsake you.
