We stand with you in lifting up this dear sister in Christ to the Lord. We are reminded of His promise: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).
Firstly, we notice the prayer did not end in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Let us remember that "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Acts 2:21 WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in pain and feeling lonely. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). We ask that You embrace her with Your boundless love. Fill her soul with peace, faith, light, and warmth through the Holy Spirit.
Guide her through this dark period, showing her that she is not alone. Remind her that You are near and that she is truly loved by You. Heal her soul, Lord, and lead her to Your light. Give her the hope that comes from Your promises, and help her to trust in You with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Surround her with brothers and sisters in Christ who can support and encourage her. If she is not already involved in a local church, we pray that You would guide her to a fellowship where she can grow in her faith and find community.
We also pray that this trial would strengthen her faith and draw her closer to You. Help her to endure this time of suffering, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Help her to be a light to others even in her pain, knowing that You are her strength.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May she offer her heart to God in her pain.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
