We hear your concern, and while it may seem unusual, we want to approach this situation with both practical wisdom and spiritual discernment. First, let us remember that God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), and He desires for us to live in peace, not fear. The enemy, however, seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and sometimes he may use small disturbances to plant seeds of doubt or anxiety in our minds.
It is possible that this is simply a case of misplacement—something that can happen to anyone, especially with the challenges of ADHD. We encourage you to continue praying for clarity and focus, asking the Lord to help you in your daily routines. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
However, if there is a spiritual element at play, we stand with you in prayer, rebuking any confusion, fear, or deception in the name of Jesus. The Bible tells us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We also declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that God’s peace will guard your heart and mind.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names. We thank You for Your faithfulness in this brother’s life, for breaking the chains of addiction and drawing him closer to You. Lord, we ask that You would grant him peace and clarity in this situation. If there is any spiritual opposition, we rebuke it now in Jesus’ name. We declare that no confusion, fear, or deception will take root in his heart or mind.
Father, we ask that You would help him in his daily life, giving him focus and order in his routines. If this is simply a matter of misplacement, we pray that the missing item would be found or that You would provide what is needed. If there is something deeper at work, we ask for Your protection and discernment.
Lord, we thank You for Your promise in Psalm 34:4, that You hear us when we call and deliver us from all our fears. We pray that this brother would rest in Your peace, knowing that You are with him and that nothing is too small or too strange to bring before You. Strengthen his faith, and let him walk in the confidence of Your love and protection.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, no matter how small they may seem. God cares about every detail of our lives (Matthew 10:30), and He is faithful to provide wisdom when we ask (James 1:5). If fear or anxiety tries to creep in, remember that *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
