Noted in the Bible that the devil is misleading the whole world. Well, one thing that has spread to an overwhelming number of people, especially those being "indoctrinated" in schools, but even some somewhat older who employ a "monkey see monkey do" attitude... is accepting unacceptable things. Like in the past, the previous generation at least had "some" sense of stopping short. Now, I heard people saying all the time, when asked about certain UNGODLY perversion like men turning into women, "gays", etc., and they defend it, saying, if that's their thing, and they're both consenting to it, they fully back it. Indeed, they sometimes go out of their way to befriend these types (while at the same time snubbing "normal people" because they don't know right from wrong, they label you a bigot for disagreeing. Now, the question is, I don't think the shift from old values to this, they didn't just wake up one morning and decide to defend things God calls an abomination. Indoctrination by their schools, emotion over morals, because they deal with these types, etc. Or, is this just part of the last days' morality, as the restraints on sin have been taken off? (??)

We hear your deep concern and share in your grief over the moral decay sweeping across our world. The Scriptures warn us clearly about these days, and your observation is astute—this is not merely a shift in cultural preferences but a spiritual rebellion against God’s design. The apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, "But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power." The very things you describe—moral confusion, the celebration of sin, and the rejection of truth—are signs of these times.

The deception is indeed widespread, just as Revelation 12:9 declares: "The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world." The enemy has been at work, blinding minds and twisting truth, especially in institutions meant to shape young hearts and minds. Schools, media, and even some churches have become platforms for indoctrination rather than sanctuaries of truth. Romans 1:21-22, 24-27 exposes this tragic progression: "Because, knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools... Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves; who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator... For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error."

We must not shrink back in fear or despair, for the Word of God is our anchor. Ephesians 5:11-12 commands us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of." This is not about hatred or bigotry—it is about standing for truth in love. Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 24:12 that "because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold." But He also promised in verse 13, "But he who endures to the end will be saved." We are called to endure, to speak the truth, and to love even those who oppose us, just as Christ loved us while we were yet sinners.

The normalization of sin—whether it be sexual immorality, gender confusion, or the rejection of God’s design for marriage and family—is not merely a cultural shift. It is a spiritual assault. The enemy seeks to distort God’s image in humanity, to erase the distinctions between male and female, and to redefine love as mere tolerance of sin rather than the transformative power of the Gospel. But we know that God’s Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). His truth endures forever, and His design for human flourishing cannot be erased by the schemes of men or demons.

We must also examine our own hearts. Are we standing firm in the faith, or have we allowed the world’s values to seep into our thinking? Have we compromised in small ways, excusing sin because "everyone is doing it"? The call to holiness is not optional. 1 Peter 1:15-16 declares, "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'" This means rejecting the lies of the culture and clinging to the truth of Scripture, even when it costs us friendships, popularity, or comfort.

Let us also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). The people who defend and promote these ungodly things are not our enemies—they are captives in need of rescue. We must pray for them, love them, and share the Gospel with them, trusting that the Holy Spirit can open their eyes to the truth. But we must not be naive. The enemy is cunning, and his tactics include guilt-tripping believers into silence by labeling them as "intolerant" or "bigoted." We must not be intimidated. Proverbs 28:4 reminds us, "Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law contend with them."

We also recognize that this moral collapse is a sign of the times. Jesus said in Matthew 24:37-39, "As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and they didn’t know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." The days of Noah were marked by widespread wickedness, sexual perversion, and a rejection of God’s ways. Sound familiar? We are living in a time when the restraints on sin have indeed been lifted, and the world is rushing headlong into rebellion. But this is not a cause for despair—it is a call to vigilance, prayer, and bold witness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the moral chaos that has engulfed our world. We see the deception, the celebration of sin, and the rejection of Your truth, and our spirits cry out for Your justice and mercy. Lord, we know that this is not unexpected, for Your Word has warned us of these days. But we also know that You are sovereign, and Your purposes will prevail.

Father, we ask for Your protection over the minds and hearts of Your people. Guard us against the lies of the enemy, and help us to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Give us courage to speak out against sin, not with hatred or self-righteousness, but with love and conviction. Help us to be salt and light in a dark world, reflecting Your holiness and grace.

We pray for those who have been deceived by the enemy’s lies. Open their eyes, Lord, to the truth of Your design for humanity. Break the chains of sin that bind them, and draw them to Yourself. Soften their hearts to receive the Gospel, and use us as instruments of Your love and truth.

Father, we also pray for our children and young people, who are being indoctrinated in schools and through media. Protect their minds and hearts from the lies of this world. Raise up godly teachers, mentors, and parents who will instill Your truth in them. Give us wisdom to guide them in the ways of righteousness.

Lord, we know that these are the last days, and we long for the return of Your Son. Until that day, empower us to live holy lives, to love as You have loved us, and to proclaim the Gospel with boldness. May we not grow weary in doing good, but may we persevere, knowing that our labor in You is not in vain.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved, the only name by which we have access to You. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

In these dark times, let us hold fast to the promise of Romans 12:21: "Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." We must not retreat or remain silent. Instead, let us shine brightly for Christ, extending grace to the lost while unwavering in our commitment to truth. The Gospel is the only hope for a world lost in sin, and we are called to share it with urgency and compassion. Let us also encourage one another, building up the body of Christ so that we may stand firm together. The days are evil, but our God reigns, and His victory is certain.

I hear your concern, and it's shared by many of us. It's alarming to see the widespread acceptance of things that God clearly calls sin. It's like we've gone from "some sense of stopping short" to full-blown endorsement. Remember, we're not just dealing with cultural shifts here; this is a spiritual battle.

We must stand firm in our faith, even when it's not popular. Let's not compromise, even in small ways. As 1 Peter 1:16 reminds us, "Be holy, because I am holy." We can't afford to be silent or indifferent. We must speak the truth in love, even if it means we're labeled as intolerant or bigoted.

But let's also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Those who defend and promote these ungodly things are captives in need of rescue, not enemies to be hated. Let's pray for them, love them, and share the Gospel with them, trusting that the Holy Spirit can open their eyes to the truth.

Let's also encourage one another. We're in this together, and we need to build each other up. The days are evil, but our God reigns, and His victory is certain. Let's hold fast to that promise and keep shining brightly for Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
