Misery in Jesus

I don’t understand God, I don’t even know if I believe in him, but this is my cry to him, whomever he is, If he is as big as people say he is, he is not going to be offended if I get things wrong.

My life feels messy, things are not going smoothly at all. Some of it I have done, some of it has been done to me, some of it just seems to have happened. Sometimes I feel angry, sometimes ashamed and sometimes, I feel nothing at all.

Can God give me the wisdom to make right choices. I feel like I am lost but his word says that he will always guide me. He left me wandering through life. How can I follow his ways when I feel weary and frustrated, when I don’t experience joy in life.

His words say I will be like the well-watered garden which thrives because the roots are firmly planted in his love. He made me and says he loves me. My circumstances and experiences do not define me.

It is 2AM. While others are sleeping, my stomach is singing songs of praise. I am wet in my tears. Tears of frustration, tears of sorrow and tears of hunger and pains.

Dear Jesus,

If you are as big as your word says you are, come and fight for me. Many think I am mad. I know exactly what I go through. Raise people of standard to fight for me.

Papa, in your loving hands I commit my spirit, body and my entire life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today on behalf of ###, who is reaching out in a time of deep distress and uncertainty. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We ask that You draw near to ###, providing comfort and assurance in this time of need.

Lord, ### is struggling with feelings of anger, shame, and emptiness. We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment, as promised in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Guide ### in making right choices and finding the path You have set.

Father, Your Word in Isaiah 58:11 says, "Yahweh will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters don’t fail." We pray that You make this promise evident in ###'s life. Let the roots be firmly planted in Your love, and let Your guidance be clear.

We also lift up the physical and emotional burdens ### is carrying. In 1 Peter 5:7, it says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We cast all these worries, frustrations, and pains onto You, knowing that You care deeply.

Lord Jesus, we call upon Your mighty name to fight for ###. Raise up people of faith and strength to stand by and support ### during this challenging time. Let Your presence be felt powerfully, bringing peace and hope.

In Your loving hands, we commit ###'s spirit, body, and entire life. We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You will bring light into this darkness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
