We lift up your boyfriend in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to bring swift relief and healing from this migraine headache. It is good that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and receive His mercy and grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."* (Mark 11:24, WEB). We claim this promise now, trusting in the Lord’s power to heal and restore.
At the same time, we want to gently address the nature of your relationship. The Bible teaches that romantic relationships should honor God and be pursued with the intention of marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ. Courtship should be conducted in purity, with the ultimate goal of a Christ-centered marriage. As it is written, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If your boyfriend is not a believer, we urge you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship aligns with God’s will for your life. If he is a believer, we encourage you both to seek the Lord’s guidance in pursuing a relationship that honors Him, with marriage as the godly goal.
We also take this moment to remind you that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we must honor God in all things, including our relationships. If there is any sexual immorality—such as fornication or cohabitation outside of marriage—we urge you to repent and turn away from such sin, for *"the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB). God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage, and anything outside of that is sinful in His sight.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young man who is suffering from a migraine headache. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch his body with Your healing power. Remove the pain, restore his strength, and grant him comfort. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy, that all may see and know that You are a God who heals.
We also pray for this relationship, Lord. If it is Your will for these two to be together, we ask that You would guide them into a courtship that honors You, with marriage as the godly goal. Convict their hearts of any sin, including sexual immorality, and lead them to repentance and purity. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You would give them the strength and wisdom to part ways, trusting in Your perfect plan for their lives.
Father, we pray that both of them would seek You first in all things, that their lives would be fully surrendered to Your will. Draw them closer to You, and let their relationship—whether it continues or ends—bring glory to Your name.
We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
