We are glad to have you reach out to us, and we will join you in praying for a job. Before we begin, we want to remind you that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also in John 16:23-24 WEB: In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
We need to seek Him first and His righteousness in Matthew 6:33 WEB: But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Now let's pray:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of a job. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your promise that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 WEB.
Father, we ask that You open the right doors and guide his/her steps. Give them the wisdom to apply for the right positions and the favor to secure a job that aligns with Your will for their life. We pray for a place of service where they can use the gifts and talents You have given them and be a light to those around them. Help them not be a slave to the lender in this process Proverbs 22:7 WEB: The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender. We pray for a job that may be a blessing to them and meets their needs.
In the meantime, we ask that You fill them with Your peace and assurance. Remind them that You are their provider and that You will never leave them nor forsake them Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
We rebuke any fears, anxieties, or doubts that may be trying to overwhelm them. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Him who loved them Romans 8:37 WEB: No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. And if we know that You hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of You. 1 John 5:14-15 WEB
We encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord and to persevere in your job search.
