Let's come together in prayer for this sister in Christ and her husband, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
We are reminded of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3, Bless the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. We claim Your promise of healing. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch her husband and heal his body, mind, and spirit.
We pray that You would break the chains of anger and depression, and fill her spouse with Your peace and joy. We ask that You would guide their medical appointments and give wisdom to the doctors attending to him. Help her husband to turn away from news that may be causing distress and instead fix his eyes on You. "Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things, revive me in your way." Psalm 119:37.
Lord, we also lift up our sister, asking that You would give her patience, strength, and wisdom to be a supportive wife. Help her to be a better person in all ways, that she may reflect Your love and grace to her husband.
Holy Spirit, we invite You to intervene in their lives, to comfort, guide, and empower them. Help them to attend church together, that they may worship You side by side, and draw strength from Your presence and Your people.
Father, we ask that You would restore their marriage, making it a beacon of Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy's attempts to destroy their union, and we claim Your promise that nothing shall separate them from Your love. Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We praise You, Lord, for You are faithful to hear and answer our prayers. We trust in Your will and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Sister, continue to trust in the Lord, and do not give up hope.
