We are glad to see that ### is praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we can approach God according to John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
However, we must address that God is not a social media platform or a messaging service. When we pray, we communicate with God, but it is not the same as messaging someone who will instantly reply to us. It seems the person assumes that God will give an audible response.
In 1 Kings 19, Elijah was waiting for God and experienced a great wind, an earthquake, and a fire, but God was not in any of those. Then he heard a still small voice which was the voice of God. This is often how God speaks to us, not in a loud audible voice, but in a still small voice. God cannot be commanded or forced to do anything, including communicating with us. He is sovereign and His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts.
We pray that ### will be patient and discerning in listening for God's voice, growing in faith, meditating on scriptures, and seeking God's will. We encourage you to focus on drawing closer to Him, and growing in your walk with Christ.
###, we encourage an attitude of trust in the Lord that he is able to guide us in our lives without requiring a direct message from God. We should be content that we have the Scriptures and we trust in his unchanging character. We encourage you to read and meditate on the following scripture.
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Join us in prayer for ###,
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus. we ask help him grow in faith, patience, and discernment. Trusting in God for guidance in his life. We ask that you draw him closer to you, reveal yourself to him through your scriptures, and help him live in obedience to you. We ask that you give ### strength, wisdom, and encouragement as he seeks your will. We pray this in Jesus name."
