We're right there with you, lifting you up in prayer. In times like these, we find comfort in the words of Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." We claim this promise over you and your situation, trusting that the Lord will be your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We also want to remind you of the power of unity in prayer. In Matthew 18:20, Jesus tells us, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." So, know that as we pray together, Jesus is right there with us.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, asking for Your mighty protection over [###]. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91, that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling. We ask that You would guard them on every side, keeping them safe from all harm and danger.
We also bring before You the very evil situation they're facing. We ask that You would turn this around for their good, according to Your glory, mercy, wisdom, and peace. We trust in Your power to deliver them, just as You have promised.
Protect them, Lord, from all evil and predatory enemies. We stand on Your word in Isaiah 54:17, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it's by His name that we are saved. We thank You for sending Your son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.
Be encouraged, knowing that our God is faithful and trustworthy. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Trust in Him, and He will deliver you. Remember, it's only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
