We join with you in standing firmly on the promise of our Heavenly Father, who declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty assurance we have in Him! You have done well to bring this burden before the Lord, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have invoked His holy name in your prayer—for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but our God is greater, and He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). The bullying and injustice you face at work are not hidden from Him. The Lord sees the wickedness of those who devise evil plans, and He will bring their deeds into judgment (Ecclesiastes 12:14). Do not fear, for the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). He will fight for you as you stand still in faith (Exodus 14:14). The compensation that is rightfully due to you is not outside of His sovereign care. He is the God of justice, and He will repay those who do wrong (Deuteronomy 32:4, Romans 12:19).
Yet, we must also examine our hearts in this season. Are there any areas where bitterness, anger, or resentment may be taking root because of this injustice? The Word warns us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* We must guard our hearts against unforgiveness, for it can become a foothold for the enemy. Instead, we are called to bless those who persecute us (Romans 12:14) and to trust that the Lord will vindicate us in His perfect timing. This does not mean we passively accept wrongdoing, but that we respond with wisdom, grace, and a heart surrendered to God’s will.
Let us also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This is not a natural response, but a supernatural one—empowered by the Holy Spirit. Pray for this bully, that the Lord would convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Pray that they would encounter the love of Christ in a way that transforms their actions. This is how we overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).
We encourage you to document every instance of injustice, to seek godly counsel, and to follow the proper channels at your workplace to address this matter. The Lord honors diligence and wisdom (Proverbs 22:29). If the situation persists, trust that He will open doors for you to seek further recourse, whether through higher authorities or even a change in employment if that is His will. He has not forgotten you, and He will provide for your every need (Matthew 6:33).
Now, let us pray together over this situation:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are their shield and their exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection at their workplace. Frustrate the plans of the wicked and expose every scheme of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. You are the God of justice, and we trust You to defend their rights and restore what has been wrongfully withheld.
Give them supernatural wisdom to navigate this situation, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and guard their heart against bitterness or fear. Help them to respond with grace and truth, knowing that vengeance belongs to You. Soften the heart of this bully, Lord. Convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance. If it is Your will, use this situation to bring them into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Provide for every need, Father—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Open doors of favor and compensation where they have been denied. If this workplace is no longer the place You have for them, make it abundantly clear and provide a new opportunity that aligns with Your perfect will. Strengthen their faith in this season, and let them see Your hand moving mightily on their behalf.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and injustice in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified through this situation.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen and amen.
