We join with you in lifting this request before the Father, standing firmly on His Word that declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty promise we cling to! Yet we must also remember that our confidence is not in the power of our words or even our faith alone, but in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that we are saved, and it is only in His name that our prayers are heard. We rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
You have asked for protection—both for yourself and your beloved dogs—and we echo this cry to the Lord, who is our strong tower and refuge. Psalm 91:9-11 assures us, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We pray that the Lord would surround your home with His heavenly host, guarding you from every scheme of the enemy, whether seen or unseen. May He frustrate the plans of the wicked and expose any darkness that seeks to harm you. We also ask for His peace to fill your home, that you would rest in the knowledge that He is your protector and provider.
Your request for favor in obtaining the correct paperwork for reasonable accommodations at work is one we bring before the Lord with urgency. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We pray that the Lord would go before you, softening the hearts of those in authority and guiding your steps to secure the documentation you need. May He grant you wisdom to navigate this process and favor with those who can assist you. If there has been any hesitation or fear in your heart, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Walk in that power and trust that the Lord is working on your behalf.
You have also asked for the swift resolution of your settlement. We pray that the Lord would move mightily in this situation, breaking through any delays or obstacles that stand in the way of what is rightfully yours. Proverbs 13:22 says, *"A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored for the righteous."* If this settlement is part of God’s provision for you, we ask that He would expedite it according to His perfect timing. We also encourage you to seek His will in how this resource should be used—whether for your needs, for the advancement of His Kingdom, or for blessing others. Remember that our trust is not in money but in the Lord, who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Finally, we want to address something that stands out in your prayer: the use of question marks at the end of *"in Jesus’ name."* Brother or sister, we urge you to pray with boldness and certainty in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). There is no doubt or hesitation in the name of Jesus—it is the name above all names, the name at which every knee will bow (Philippians 2:10). When you pray, declare His name with faith, knowing that He hears you and will answer according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, lifting their needs and concerns to Your throne. You are our protector, our provider, and our peace. We ask that You surround them and their home with Your divine protection, guarding them from every evil scheme and harm. Place Your angels around them, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We pray for wisdom and favor as they seek reasonable accommodations at work—open doors, soften hearts, and provide the necessary paperwork swiftly. Father, we also ask for Your intervention in the settlement they await. If it is Your will, bring it to completion quickly and justly, that they may see Your faithfulness in their life.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or uncertainty in Jesus’ mighty name. Fill them with Your peace and confidence, knowing that You are working all things together for their good. Remind them that their trust is in You alone, not in circumstances or outcomes. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the assurance that You are with them always.
We declare these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.
